1. Road is floating (just like 1990 NS highway northern part).
2. Poor interchange Design.
3. Worst U-turn system.
4. Super narrow U-turn.

err, actually there is alot of cars from relau or paya terubong using this road to balik pulau and with the sunway mixed development coming up so those from farlim or air itam can access to balik pulau or relau can use the new bukit kukus once the whole stretch is completed.

as for the bukit jambul jam actually there will be a new road coming up for those from relau to bypass bukit jambul and straight to the roundabout.

on the hills without treatment ?

Yes every businessman need profit, project from GOV normally lucrative n guaranty payment, so no complaint on it.
but i think they can do better, yes i means better, especially paya terubong entry n both u-uturn part, why interrupt with old road ? why paya terubong u-turn (this one really can skip).

i dont have comment on that, just that area are full of hills and always landslide causing the whole road got blocked.

also when i pass through there last time, i saw they do a lot of treatment and it took quite some time before they start building it.

For ayer item ppl:
if they going to relau/sg ara/airport/mainlands, this won't use this new road. (but cause of new road, now all user must do 1 U-turn)
if only they plan to go balik pulau (yes going balik pulau only).

For relau/sungai ara/bayan baru/bayan lepas ppl:
There is no reason for them to use this road at all.

For balik pulau ppl:
if coming back from paya terubong to balik pulau yes.
if they going to paya terubong or relau/bayan lepas/ they will not use this road.
for bukit jambul residence (how many of them) ?
they have the most benefit to go/back  paya/ayer itam/balik pulau.

for now i don't see much benefit others than ease up paya terubong, tun sardon junctions (but i think other alternative is much cheaper n efficient ....

Which kind of alternative you referring to? Digging tunnel through the hill or use a plane to fly over the hill?

Not sure whether you are frequent "hill road" (from relau to paya terubong) user, but if you do, you should notice whenever there are a bus/truck slowly going uphill, people will need to risk their life to overtake or just follow it behind slowly with 20 or 30km/h, and then a minor accident there will leads to standstill traffic for hours... its even more fuck up if its a rainy day.

this road is good for dispersing the traffic there, else you have to take a big turn through jalan bukit gambir > greenlane >ayer itam > paya terubong (insanely big turn) when shit happen which occurs like almost every week.

If you ask who want it? im one of it. Dont be selfish, just because you didnt need it, then you assume everyone wont be using it?

Not so fast will develop but then once that place is developed the traffic will be high, but they will widen the main road there.

I saw it in the newpaper few year back on the sunway development plans at Paya Terubong. I think it is part of the Valley City
