Just went through this highway when I back home just now

i just try this road but i don't think it change anything nor helping local or ease much traffic.
this look like "WANT" more than "Need" project.
key questions, who want it (definitely not local)?

This road is more like "Fix" than "solution" with 2 u-turn in 3Km ?
For ayer item ppl:
if they going to relau/sg ara/airport/mainlands, this won't use this new road. (but cause of new road, now all user must do 1 U-turn)
if only they plan to go balik pulau (yes going balik pulau only).

For relau/sungai ara/bayan baru/bayan lepas ppl:
There is no reason for them to use this road at all.

For balik pulau ppl:
if coming back from paya terubong to balik pulau yes.
if they going to paya terubong or relau/bayan lepas/ they will not use this road.
for bukit jambul residence (how many of them) ?
they have the most benefit to go/back  paya/ayer itam/balik pulau.

for now i don't see much benefit others than ease up paya terubong, tun sardon junctions (but i think other alternative is much cheaper n efficient ....

Not sure why you like the old single lane hill road that much, honestly you never get caught behind a heavy vehicle before?

Maybe you enjoy overtaking by rev up ur engine speeding and hard corner drifting, but not me sorry, im too old for that.

yup .... that why i rise question, for 300 over millions, they might start with others part that bring more benefit.
like tanjong bunga to tien teik, i will enjoy it.

for usm or bukit jambu ppl, yah bigger gain for those ppl.
