can u guys rekomen a wifi router tat its optimum for the ps3?

my BIL is using maxis 3G, so shud he get a modem router, or just a wireless router will do? and the router must be able to do port forwarding

ok ke pakai maxis 3g.pasal router ni pakai je pe yang ada.tp aku pakai jenama d-link.

I'm using Maxis 3G as my broadband connection with Nokia 6120 classic as my modem. I use the Linksys Wrt54G and its OK only. Linksys is stable but the signal strength is a a little weak. I think D-link is better with much better signal. However setting WLan with a handphone can be very very tricky tricky.

whatever you do... stay away from Linksys for PS3. You can't use media sharing if you do.. It'll keep rebooting

I'm using a Linksys with my PS3, X360 and PC. Got no problem with it.

I'm using D'Link 524 router...The I gave me no prob...can port forward also...but I think the signal strength is somewhat lacking....So I used wired connection instead.

p/s: People with 360 will be too busy to play Halo so the audience will be splitted setween the two game...which I think Halo will managed to win over COD4....

but for PS3...they won't have anything else (for FPS) to play...so it should be the king of FPS multiplayer...might even beat Resistance (and most prob will).

Tell me what is to stop it from being the king of PS3 Multiplayer? Haze...go and read all the preview for haze...on every gaming website...they are not as stoked as they are for COD4. in fact, they are more stoked with the next TimeSplitters rather than Haze.
