Has anybody here bought an Asian Folklore? All is in english? What about the voice acting?

Voice = Check,
Subtitles = check,
Manual = not english..I also never read manual book...Grown up with PS1 and PS2 with just disc and no manual
Game menus = english ke?

The new BD site....disc pricing is great but shipping cost is not so great...multiple disc set will be counted as multiple items...so shipping will be a bit costly but still bearable as it'll cost about $1.49 per item

All the things inside the 60 and 80 version are the same. No worries. I believe only the rumored 40 version will be manufactured by Foxcon...which is a much reduced cost wise. (do I make sense, well grammar is for wussies)

So don't worry just go and buy the 80 version...you
ll get extra 20...what more could you ask....

The thing is that sometimes thing we buy does get damaged...it's part of the industry. The only things is that we don't have a return policy. wait for the official version if you really 'takut' to buy. Sony Malaysia have a return policy so no worries or you can also go to SG to buy one...any prob can go to Sony SG.

There really is no diff between 60 and 80 when it comes to 'what if it died on you?'. and in terms of the inner component it's all the same except for the PS2 games backward compatibility. 60 is hardware based and 80 is software based. If that concerns you then choose the one you like.

UPDATE: Downloaded the New Folklore Demo....Ohhhh I'm so buying the game...It's so damn cantik and the art direction are so damn great. Not to mention the fearies are all so damn best....Best nyer...Tp alamak Bernard punya kedai tak bukak ari nih sampai ahad.....mati katak laaa aku..tak leh main Folklore...

As of 6.15 Am the new items for US PSN are still not available...wondering what's holding them.

For me I would trade Dirt with the new Burnout coming in Nov....now that a game everybody's been wanting...and this is coming from a old time Colin Mcrae fan....Dirt is great but burnout is better.

BTW how slow is your Internet? 512? I've been on 512 before this and it never bothers me.

Now i'm on 1.5M...still pays 88 as streamyx upgraded my previous upgrade (I upgraded to 1 MB)

And I heard that PS3 from other region don't need adapter as well but I can't confirm as I don't have them. but a few forumers have a japan unit and I believe one of us here have a US set.

How come you guys never mention Call of Duty 4 ar?

It's supposed to be massive (the multiplayer part also).....I'm so buying the game...

I'm using D'Link 524 router...The I gave me no prob...can port forward also...but I think the signal strength is somewhat lacking....So I used wired connection instead.

p/s: People with 360 will be too busy to play Halo so the audience will be splitted setween the two game...which I think Halo will managed to win over COD4....

but for PS3...they won't have anything else (for FPS) to play...so it should be the king of FPS multiplayer...might even beat Resistance (and most prob will).

Tell me what is to stop it from being the king of PS3 Multiplayer? Haze...go and read all the preview for haze...on every gaming website...they are not as stoked as they are for COD4. in fact, they are more stoked with the next TimeSplitters rather than Haze.

Can torrent laa bro rx...no prob one...just do a search....but why would you want to torrent using a ps3...even a pentium 3 running linux can run torrent and the electric bill wont be as high as PS3....and nowadays you can buy a P3 system for 2-3 hundred.


Sayming....please use google and you can find the answer right away rather than waiting for us to post it here for you...and the ionly thing we can post is the link...which of course google can give within a blink of an eye (if you have a fat broaband line).

Hi Everybody,

Selamat Hari Raya and Maaf Zahir Batin to all.

Just managed to switch on my PS3 after missing out the last two PSN update..I was at my kampung.

Purchased Everyday Shooter...Only managed to play it for about 30 mins...will post my impression later...but I can't seems to find any leaderboards functionality tho....

BUT...I'm so pissed off at the slow speed while downloading from PSN...After 2 hrs of digging on the intarweb...I managed to learn how to download the Demo via PC ( which is WAAAAYY faster - Max speed of my 1.5 MB streamyx connection) and install it via PS3 proxy to the PS3.

So now I'm currently downloading Ratchet....hopefully will be able to play it within 2 hrs after I finished downloading it.

So the questions is...

1. Is everybody having teh same exp... i.e. slowness in the dl speed.

2. Ninja and also anybody else with experience in using the PS3 proxy. Any idea how can I maximise the trf speed of the .pkg file to the PS3. currently I'm only getting speed of around 250 kb only...

Hi people....

Just want to update you guys that I went to a shop to test the new Bravia s310A from sony which support 1080p input and scale it back to its native 1366x768 lcd panel.

The pic quality is great but you need to tweak it to desired result. Bluray pic quality is superb and game wise is also good but I can't say much as I only managed to tweak the image when the kedai is about to close...

I'm thinking of getting this one as cash price this kedai can offer me 2700. the kedai is at SS2 kelana jaya.

1080p and 720p diff??? cant say much either as don't have enough time to test...but from the short session..there's not that much diff...

Will update you guys once I decide to take the tv to my home.

I understand that you are frustrated from you bad experience with your PS3. I would too it it happens to me.

But I think that this problem does not by any means shows the quality of the PS3 overall. I believe that your case is the exception rather than the norm. So it would be better if you tell everybody that rather than telling everybody that PS3 build quality is not good/very sensitive and etc.

Do post your msg properly as the way you post it gave a bad impression on the PS3. It is good that you want to share the info but by posting the way you've posted. it would scare all the other would be buyer of a PS3. We of course do not want that to happen as the prob is mainly not with the PS3 but with you felt cheated by the shop for not assisting you to ship the PS3 to HK/JPN/US for free.

We do not want to give false impression to people as the more PS3 owners in MY means LYN clan will be bigger and we can enjoy more games together...

p/s: I'm not affiliated with SONY in anyway imaginable. hehehe

For an electronic product to be defective is the norm if it is around 0%-2% IINM. That is why they have the warranty period of 1 year or more. I guess you falls within that 0%-2% range.
