Hi,
Just an update on my PS3 setup. I bought HDMI cable (top quality) and HDMI-DVI adaptor from PA and Dell SE198WFP monitor. Surprisingly, the PS3 reported I can do 1080P at 1440x900 resolution (you know what that means... downscale!). Comparing to 720P, I found out 1080P really helps in web browsing and game playing even downscaled. I also heard from LCD TV market that the manufacturers will released new FullHD supported 1366x768 LCD TV in 2008. But this is also downscaling by the way....

$235.00 doh.gif doh.gif doh.gif

Alternatively you can get a HDMI switch. Use a HDMI cable for the PS3 and a HDMI-DVI cable for your PC. I bought the HDMI-DVI cable for around RM20 at playasia and the switch for RM125 at your favorite shop in Cineleisure tongue.gif

It out already by the way. Check out Sony's latest range of LCD TV.

1080p TVs is starting to become affordable already. The 42" Philips 1080p is now going for RM5800 while the 37" is RM4700. Both are cash prices btw, just add a few hundred more if paying by card biggrin.gif

But that's not a switch, the purpose of a switch is for sharing the DVI on the LCD for PC n PS3 usage. nod.gif
