i'm thinking of buying maybe next year. too many games this year waiting to be played

again, the problem is where to buy additional card packs? and the timezone difference. this game sure won't be popular in asia, so must make timetable to play with worldwide players

if china wholesaler can sell at bulk price USD32.00 per piece, i'm wondering what components/processes is keeping the PS3 manufacturing cost so high!? kinda disappointed sony haven't reach critical mass and produce and sell the PS3 at lower prices. my ps2 fat lens is still performing after 5 yrs++ of abuse

today's JPN PSN store update was a little disappointing, but the clip of HS in JPN voice acting is pretty good. i hope the Asian version of HS has multiple voice track

bad news, seems like no PES demo this week

i wonder how about those other demos like timeshift or fatal inertia? ps3 60GB more suitable for hoarding demos than the 360 20GB.

^if 60gb is cheaper, buy the 60gb version. if price is the same, get the 80gb version.

^ actually a few 60GB PS3 around here already experienced dead laser syndrome and unable to recognize discs. sony continue to refine and improve their design and manufacturing. u may end up with a more reliable 80Gb model than most of us.

80GB sets are not similar to PS2 slim situation.

if u recall, the 1st batch of ps2 fat and psp fat has its shares of problems. 1st adopters were like test mice. its was after a few revisions then only the ps2 fat and psp fat become stable. i think no less than 5 forumers here with 60Gb sets have problems with dead lens get the 80GB!

@ kabuto, when set ps3 at 480i for SDTV, the graphics not that impressive, almost like ps2.5

if u already have speaker set, i recommend get benq fp94vw - small but good value for money (same as me )

RM700 (LYP) + RM30 HDMI cable, and u good to go

benq fp94vw is selling at LYP for RM700, but only 19" ler. its perfect for a desktop setup. can use for 360 and pc somemore. the money spent on games already >>RM700 for that display, LoL

they are others using dell, samsung, LG screens etc. when u buy make sure the model has DVI (HDCP). no hurry, do some research and look at some panels then buy something within your budget. some ppl prefer to buy LCDTV.

regarding speaker set also got many choices for different budget. anyway, since u just got ps3, rmb to d/load some free stuff from PSN. the GTHD is going to be taken down soon, download it 1st.

Benq FP94VW have no speakers. u can get one those pc 2.1/5.1 speaker sets. actually if u are on a budget, wait these few months before buying the ps3. rumours are price cut coming before MGS4 or KZ2 released

so price of 60gb+1 game=80gb?
like i mentioned earlier, even though reliability of ps3 is pretty good so far, some 60GB sets already exhibit some laser problems. maybe the 80gb sets have better QC? buying parallel import units is always a great gamble when it comes to hardware problems.

somemore there are rumors of a cheaper 40gb coming soon also. damn pening time for prospective customers
