That's a quick release for another update. I wonder if it's got to do with the 'complaints' received about Firmware 2.0 messing up the PS3's...

Firmware 2.01 fix a few issues on Remote Play, and hopefully bugs on Assassin Creed.

What's new in v2.01 ?

. Stability during playing some PLAYSTATION 3 format software has been improved.

. Stability of System Software including Internet Browser and Information Board has been improved.

. Stability of the upscaler for PlayStation 2 format software has been improved. (Playability of PlayStation 2 depends on model)

. [Remote Start] feature is changed to avoid unintended power on.

for example after exiting a game i go to the playstation store and after i clicked it

this has happend 3 times already

It can be update ps3 HK and Singapore i download and update it no problem.

have u updated to FW2.01 yet? if yes, and its still hang, i suggest just off the ps3 for a while or reboot your modem.

Hem it weird i have update ps3 and lcd monitor samsung 214T did not have problem, maybe you can try restart ps3 and it happen again something wrong at your ps3.

ok my samsung LCD i use for my PC is Samsung Syncmaster 713N

and the ps3 dosent hang if i wait for a few minutes

let it update the information board
auto sign in my account

then i can click the internet or play station browser

but why

it happened yesterday night after i was playing winning eleven 2008

IINM, the Samsung Syncmaster 713N don't have DVI (HDCP) input - so unable to support PS3.

Try to "disable" or "do not display" the information board. It still has some bugs/glitches and not really useful.

even after i finished downloading and started playing

i believe it's the Winning Eleven. My ps3 hung when I tried to play it. Quickly deleted after
Oh wait..that was Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 though.. Winning Eleven no problem

the gt hd concept you can get from us psn also, but if you're talking bout the gt5 prologue demo, only japan has got it atm. almost quite sure sg don't have it. correct me if i'm wrong
