anyone know where to get other themes coz i notice there is an install option under themes....just wonder where to find the themes

maybe got in Official SONY website..try to search there.. coz POSP slim im DL from Official SONY website..

still no luck in finding any ler if anyone knows how to get it post the link k

Here's what I noticed so far:

1. Ability to change the theme (fonts, icons, background, background colors). I find it weird that black is not part of the color selection.
2. The notification is now semi transparent..
3. Love the new Rounded font option. Very legible.
4. The hand cursor in the web browser / store looks so much larger and better now.
5. There's Group Content for Games now. However, on mine, it's Group By Format & Album, which doesn't make much of a difference. What options do you get for this on your machine?
6. There's also sort by for games now. (creation date, recently played & format)
7. The new RSS ticker like thing on the top right looks kinda out of place.
8. The dashboard feels a bit sluggish compared to the previous version.
9. Only 1 theme available at the moment?

that is y i wanna search for some nice themes...but so far cant find any.....hope there are nice ones

The system feels normal now that I've disabled the Information Board. Can you create folders for your games now? I can't figure how to do that just yet.

After you have finished downloading the P3T file, create a new folder PS3/THEME inside you thumbdrive or MemoryStick and copy over the P3T files.

Then, just activate the themes from the XMB.

Note: You can also create your own themes using the PS3 Custom Theme Tool.

Another feature included in Firmware 2.00 - Progressive Downloading. This is only applicable to movie downloads only.

You can playback the video while downloading it.

I found the way to create folder to organize your videos.

Go to Video and press 'Triangle' on any of your videos, and select 'Information'.

Here you will see 'Album' field can be enter. So, just put for example 'Movie Trailer' or 'Game Trailer'. Then, your videos will be sorted and listed in their respective folders.



EDIT: You can do the same steps for Photos and Games as well. Don't forget to press 'Square' to toggle the group content (By Month, By Year or By Album). So, just toggle to 'By Album' to organize your files in folders.

Nope getting it after my SPM

Umm..okay, i'm d/l through my ps3 which is taking ages. If say i d/l from here, how do I install/transfer it to my ps3 specifically?

Also.. the two links given for the updates are different? Are there different firmware updates for different regions? ^_-

Im dont have PS3,
So for many year PC exeperience,
Download from Ps3 Official web and put the setup into ur USB(thumb drive)
Plug it into ur PS3 USB port, extract/direct install.
