u play piano?
*
1. Since you like music so much why not?
2. You have Piano cert? I am not sure but I heard that need to have second instruments?
3. Scholarship I advice you to apply from STAR as well as other. Provided your results must be good. No bonding because I am a STAR Scholar as well and my friend is taking STAR Scholarship. Even though just support half, better than nothing. Then you apply for PTPTN loan, not RHb. Interest rate is so high. OMG...
4. Not RHB la... PTPTN.
5. RM700 including hostel?
6. Part time job can be found easily is just that you wan to look for it or not. smile.gif
7. Not much. List down one by one.
8. So far, I never see before. basketball, badminton, soccer, volleyball. Others I am not sure but I don't think have la. tongue.gif

Good Luck... smile.gif

u play piano?

Yes i play piano. now sem 6 in degree...

1st, this is the more important things u need for study music.
2nd. grade 5 can go in for foundation. don care about the cert, i hv a fren don hv even a single cert who play flute, can go in to foundation.
u need to audition b4 u go in, it test for your practical, aural and theory. if u done ok, it possible start from foundation sem2/3 in theory/aural.
major instruments mostly have to start from sem 1. total sem for foundation is 3 sems. 3rd sem you hv a jury for your major instrument...
3rd. i know can take school scholarship. but i don know how.. hv to research..
4th. PTPTN.... i heard is 1% insterest? not sure about that. ask for it when u wan to apply.
5th. i am not staying there. so i not sure how much should spend...
6th. in music school, i think no time for part time job. maybe u can when u are in higher sem in degree.
7th. any questions for music school, just ask, i will try my best to answer.
8th. not active in sports!

p/s: i suggest u major in guitar classical/contem... because really rare ppl major in guitar.

minor instrument is compulsory to take when in foundation year. is elective when degree.

hope this help u...

Most of them YES.
There are some lecturers from different country might speak with different slang. Perhaps you need time to comfort yourself with their slang. smile.gif

You mean you never learn music before? Erm... I am not sure but I think you can't.
Perhaps like what peggyliew said as below:-

I am one of the music student in UCSI.

It is not very strict with the cert, at least u hv a certain level(basic)/ know how to play any instruments.

anyway, just go audition if u wan to be one of the music student.

Hi. I just received my pre-billing for the next semester and am sad to see the 10% increase in fees which takes a toll on my family, especially in times of an economic crisis like this.

FYI, I actually know one of the directors of one of the colleges around KL and she said that the private education institutions were given guidelines by the Ministry of Higher Education NOT to increase fees for their existing students (fee increment can only be implemented for the new students) but UCSI had clearly defied that rule.

Is there anything we can do to appeal against this increment? The person I talked to suggested that perhaps the Student Council make an appeal on behalf of all the students, because my school's student association had appealed but to no avail. Anyone from the Student Council here?

Please reconsider. It's self mutilation trying to scrap through with all the half-past-six lecturers in campus/
