QUOTE(aaron1717 @ Feb 21 2022, 09:38 AM) but ytdy ronaldo was quite bad... losing ball when dribbling, losing the physical battles... positioning seems out of place, cant even have a proper shot on target I am not going to take that game so seriously, the pitch was soaked and people were sliding everywhere. Ronaldo should have scored the early chance but the ball was kinda behind him ish, could be the pitch idk, but that should have been a goal, Elanga should have scored earlier as well. Lingard idk he did nothing IMO, Luke Shaw again showing his defensive frailties, and HOLY COW WE SCORED FROM A CORNER! and85rew liked this post

QUOTE(aaron1717 @ Feb 21 2022, 09:16 AM) one thing good is lindelof very adventurous ytdy... keep on bring to the front and play one two... his handling of the ball ten times better than kapitan... kapitan everytime bring the ball up... usually pass wrong, overpass or ended up at opponent leg... lol kaptain always likes to pass the ball at awkward height. damn difficult to control. |

QUOTE(areankim @ Feb 21 2022, 11:24 AM) QUOTE(aaron1717 @ Feb 21 2022, 11:30 AM) under normal circumstances i would tend to agree that his passes are shiat. Yesterday was an exception. The ground was soaked, grounders will be slow and get stuck. Passes must always be above ground in such conditions.Regardless, he's still up to United standards. His 1v1s are atrociously bad. He is good at being a brick for opponents to shoot at. |

QUOTE(beck_ken @ Feb 21 2022, 09:36 AM) That’s why United was struggle when either one or both were playing cuz their work rate were low especially when upfront was Ronaldo yeah....greenwood & rashford cut in with their dribbling & pace are quite entertaining but at the same time kill the teamwork.... mixed some selfish play + supplier move make opponent unable to guess what u going to do next.... but both of them are jz gonna cut in & shot > then fernandes oso do the same & ronaldo next...... QUOTE(IcyDarling @ Feb 21 2022, 09:47 AM) Probably a rotational thing since we have a CL game midweek? I would think Sancho gets a rest if we didn't concede and collapsed after for the 2 leeds goals. But we were chasing for a crucial 3 points and Sancho was probably one of our best player ytd night. sancho work rate are getting better n way better than rashford + greenwood.....I would think that AWB was our worst player out there though. Probably was sent in to hold James down, and if James was not running headlessly like he used to for us, AWB would have been useless. He runs into opposition with no thoughts on his next move. Passes to a teammate who was under heavy pressure, making it hard for him to clear the ball. I loved what i seen from McT ytd night though. Being annoying, throwing tackles left right centre, picking on meaningless fights, just like the rest of the top squads have. Fred was a surprise. I was deeply disappointed when pogba came off but was pleasantly surprised at Fred forward movements. But I guess it was also Leeds keke, terrible defense setup. Bruno, oh bruno, love him even if he have games where he just lob balls forward optimistically to nowhere. How could we ever drop him. Ronaldo had a rather quiet game again. Dont think it was a sitter as the ball was going behind him. Never really understood if its actually our wingers and midfielders not feeding him, or his runs are terribly offside half the time. But at the end of the day, showed why he is still class by coming in deep to pick up the ball, making runs after 70 minutes of horrible pitch. I think the team is better off without him, but im sure glad he is not in a city / liverpool team against us. With the quality that liverpool and city have, he would have been a nightmare in the premier league. Pitch was so bad though, u cant really dribble with the ball or pass effectively, but was glad to see the team came through with a fighting spirit even after conceding the 2 goals. Onwards to CL! Many wrote us off from CL, but im just secretly hoping Mr CL brings his little magic again hoho. I'll be happy to see us go as far as possible with the best team even if we don't win it or go very far from here there are moment of self dribbling + some cross/short pass that confuse the def..... + his pressing are getting better... jz one thing i dont understand in the team......... why the player need to see each other face for passing? should have make some run for creating empty space for receiving pass/forward run to break opponent formation...... sometime i see the player facing own player waiting for passes look weird .....like opponent blind wont intercept the course of the pass..... |

QUOTE Manchester United's football director, John Murtough, has opened up on the 'turbulent period' at Old Trafford from Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's sacking to Ralf Rangnick's appointment. Murtough insists that United did not speak to any other managers about taking over until Solskjaer departed, out of respect to the club legend. He told a fan forum, as reported by the Mirror: 'Out of respect for Ole, we did not approach other managers before he left. what kind of football director is this? so it doesnt matter if we play shit, lack of quality in the centre midfield, no trophy, as long i respect u, we wiil believe u? is that it? by right he shud get the sacked! oh wait a minute.. i forgot.. glazers have no target, as long can give good vibes and sukcc the money from the club every year |
