Was aiming at 70mai m300 for my car, price around rm150.
Question is,
If my car only part outdoor and always hot. Dashcam battery will explode or not?
Will it drain my car battery?

you can look at your phone manual normal operating temperature of lithium battery should not exceed 45c

Hey, i just bought a 70mai dashcam and about to get an accesory shop to install for me. I plan to ask the shop to hide all the cables wor. Unker don't want dangling. Still can remove the camera if i cabut the cable right?

if u hide the cable...u have to cable the cable as well
so when u get back to the car, u need to mount the dashcam back + plug the cable back in

but for me, i just let it dangle

I plan to ask accessory guy to cut some wire and connect using an adapter for power instead of using USB port from Cigarette lighter. Good idea?

depending what dashcam u use, they got sell such kit
and not recommend to cut wire

They can do it with hardwire kit incl hiding properly those wires. If install front $80 but if incl rear average $180.

it's just 1 straight cable coming down...and it's tied neatly underneath

Depends on manufacturers kot. I had a few Korean ones (blackvue, intronic), all required 12V supply and used proprietary plug/socket at dash cam.

I menang tabulih tahan dangling cable in front of me. Find it very irritating.

I use Yi cam in front. It's so big and it's gold colour - anyone in front can spot it easily.

u cannot tahan dangling cable in front of u yet so many people put tons tons bunch of talisman handing onto the rear view mirror
those are even more distracting to me and blocking my view

i put my cam at a very visible place with the wire dangling yet people still do stupid stuff around me

Not dismissing other people's experience, but I've never had any of my lithium dash cam bursted even when parked under sun on daily basis.

I guess, don't get the generic OEM Chinese models.
