don't hide the cable...let it dangle in the middle
when the car is park...unmount the dashcam and put it on the floor

You don't find the dangling cable irritating?

I think all dashcam still use micro USB, so even hide cable
Just unplug USB to remove dashcam

Depends on manufacturers kot. I had a few Korean ones (blackvue, intronic), all required 12V supply and used proprietary plug/socket at dash cam.

not really
i drove car with and without the cable dangling...for me, makes no difference
it's just 1 straight cable coming down...and it's tied neatly underneath

plus people looking from behind knows they're being recorded so they don't try anything stupid but many still did laugh.gif

I menang tabulih tahan dangling cable in front of me. Find it very irritating.

I use Yi cam in front. It's so big and it's gold colour - anyone in front can spot it easily.

Cable too short is it? Cannot reroute under top liner thru side pillar all the way down?

Not referring to my cable, rather was responding to the ktard who lets the wite dangle. My cable is nicely hidden.
