i agree.. perodua must be thinking that becoz proton have been coming out wit rubbish all these yrs, they were so confident wit the viva n put it at a quite a high price coz theyre adamant in thinking that people will still buy it..

but, its toooo early 2 say anything.. it might look good on the outside, but the quality could be appalling.. but, seeing things now that proton r trying quite hard in improving quality n service, this could turn out 2 be very very good indeed.. this could very well be the savior of proton..

actually, that is the very reason y im still putting hopes on proton.. eventhough it is still not 100% fully developed by them, but still theyre working on doing it anyway, n eliminating the usage of other people's stuff bit by bit along the way..

the price of the viva initially is lower than the current one... infact is so low that viva will win da savvy vs viva market... hence why there was some intervention to increase the price of viva... wanna give hope to proton... and lets not forget that perodua has goverment interest in it, eventough its only less than 50%...

PROTON is indeed on its path to great success if this BLM is having a nice interior and build quality . The exterior is very nice I would say. Even nicer than the LATIO sedan which is way too weird in terms of proportion . THis one looks better. If it is priced below 40k, then PERODUA will certainly needs to worry.

Then PROTON really needs to make sure that their production rate can be able to cope with the demand, if not, it might face same problem like DELL. THe current PERSONA is having a hard time to deliver to the customer...but i'm sure the PROTON CITY plant certainly have the capability to achieve higher production volume.
