BLM = bad ass looking motor
LOL if this tall narrow sedan (think of C, V and L) car has H, T or N badge on it...nobody will condemn. damn unfair people nowdays.. It's quite not bad looking car for its class. If you say it's ugly, the tall narrow cars like C, V and L are ugly as well. QUOTE(singchaii @ Sep 18 2007, 11:41 PM) Can someone tell me, why there stick those sticker around the car? The sticker is just for the design so they can follow the sticker design or got other meaning? ????That is to disguise the car from public before they're doing intensiv eroad test on the car now, those are final steps before launching a new car...usually those taped up cars are called test mules. Every manufacturer do that. |

QUOTE(kevin613 @ Sep 19 2007, 12:47 AM) u're comparing this with the C,V, and L? It's just that I can't fathom what people want nowdays by looking at some responds in this thread , it's millions times better than nippon Viva or myvi for a sub RM30k car. Maybe it has the great Euro design people are not familiar with cos it looks like Renault or Fiat...C=City, V= Vios(or do u mean Viva?) and L=latino? i thought they're in different class? they should be in line with persona, no? everyone has got their own preference, u generalize and say when they call the BLM as ugly, then other car also ugly is simply unfair too.. u cannot just simply post here and expect everyone to agree with u. anyway, for a sub RM40k car, what do u expect? if they price this above RM40K, then i think proton is gonna shoot their own leg again, price competition with the persona.. if they price it below between the 35-40K region, then this is gonna give the viva serious competition.. Read about the previous reports this car will be priced below Rm30k - surely another hit by proton. |

QUOTE(Vampir3 @ Sep 26 2007, 11:03 AM) proton until now still cannot 100% have their own design model.... after 20+ years still like a kampung boy & this boy getting worst n worst Another stupid statement. Can't even differentiate ke? It's not 100% same. What about Nissan Latio with their Renault grill.. Beroktua copied directly from the Nips ..and they gonna be 20 years soon..teruk lagi dun even have their own models. Proton holds the rights and patents for their own models..that means 100% designed from them..damn some people. can, real reward is kad mesra...they combined my old real points with my current mesra points...and you can check ur mesra point at real rewards website (using mesra ID) to get the exact day of transaction cos mesra website doesn't give that info so both basically from the same company ( real rewards ID can't be used at mesra website).

I dunno why people keep on harping on the side moulding, the black lining...you can see new cars nowdays dun have this for a "cleaner" design"..
It's not like it's integrated into the main design unlike Citroen or Kia cars which have those linings...you can take it out easily..the small strips on cars like that Saga is usually glued on. |

QUOTE(Relish @ Jan 18 2008, 06:50 PM) erm i think the lining still hav its just that they place it lower around ur shin level sorry if im wrong QUOTE(jye'n @ Jan 18 2008, 09:55 PM) Just got back from Proton Showroom. In addition to KeV's photo contribution, here's mine. Car in photo is Medium-Line, full spec, Auto-transmission. RM39,998. Hey dun look down on the pull/push lock mechanism - that central lock mechanism is inherited from Saga using metal rods - which is damn reliable and most importantly easy to mantain - and resulting Ease of door trim panel removal..I hope they put some dampener or sponge like in Saga so the metal won't rattles. Savvy has this kind of lock too, the seats, adjuster all came from Savvy also like the dash, meter, glovebox lol» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « |
