Well, some dealer offer only RM100 deposit nowadays because they never know when will the car arrive.

So give the SAGA a try, if you can't wait you lose RM100. If you can wait, you'll be driving the people's car.
I do believe the waiting time will be shorten, Tanjung Malim plant yet to reach it optimum output......if Proton can push the car out and ensure quality.....

ya man! 165km/h! that means the 155 quoted by proton is just either a rough estimate or the safe speed limit.

7 months waiting list..way too long..

i totally agree... now my honda city backup plan seems all the more inevitable. was planning to ditch the idea after i read the fantastic reviews about the car...

OMG!! I just realised how much the BLM resembles a 1994 Rover 214Si my dad used to have. Of course the BLM looks saller, newer, nicer and has a more up to date design, and of course doesn't look the same, but there is something about it that's similar. Or maybe i'm just nostalgic, cos I loved that rover (the ones in the pics are not mine).

dude, it doesnt resemble the rover at all.

contact a salesman, 'promise' me can get the car in less than 4 months..
now preparing documents for applying loan..

dun believe in salesman....my loan already approved 3 week ago oso cannot confirm when can get car

since i choose saga instead of myvi, lets hope my salesman wil do his job

This afternoon i just came into Proton's showroom to look around for the new Saga.
The Salesman said that the M-line version of Saga will only take 4 months of waiting time. While the B-line versions and and N-line versions are going to take around 2 months which has less waiting time. Theres shorter waiting time because less people booked for B-line and N-line version.

The salesman said it only takes 4months for the waiting time ,but i don't really believe what he said because it might be a sales strategy to make people buy their products.

Anyway.. the car's colour in the brochure is kinda different with the real car's painting(colour) as i am comparing when i'm deciding which colour i should choose for my new saga.

ok, so it doesn't look similar that's probably good news i guess. still plan to buy it anyway. the good thing about it is the interest rate is 3.88%/7 years no matter what bank. anyone knows which bank offers the best interest rate for 2nd hand cars below 5 years old? i've tried EON (4.5-5%) and CIMB (4.1%) for 7 years. quite high methinks...

I also noticed that their given interest rate was actually too high. Honda's interest rate it much much lower compared too.
Why not try taking a personal loan from banks and pay using cash? I think it will be cheaper.

Anyway...did anyone found any bad sides of this Saga car? Malfunctioning parts or whatever disadvantages?

r u sure B-line model just hv to wait aeound 2 months...cos i booked one B line manual....hope the salesman din lie...

i booked during the launching day nite at the shah alam...the wan located middle of the highway...i booked silver auto m line...i just called up my SA just now...i was told that they will only giving cars to those who booked before the launching and to those who booked b line and n line recently...next month will be giving to those booked m line.....he said that majority had booked de m line silver...he cannot guarantee that i can collect my car next month but he will be more confident to get my car with other color especially green color..yucks...i am still thinking of blue or gray...any suggestion guys?

just got my saga today. I booked on 1 jan. This is my first car so can't comment much
