Yes 5G - Lot 10 Yes 5G roadshow

Today I have a chance to staycation in KL BBCC area, near Jalan Alor area...

Outdoor 5G is no problem at all, but while in hotel room, only have 3 of 5 signal strength, having a speed around 200Mbps ++

the main problem is the signal keep switching between from 4G, 4G+, no signal and 5G....

after staying overnight here, today morning only have 4G speed with 800Mhz signal, only having around 6Mbps ++ speed...

quite disappointed actually ..

Moreover, yesterday I also went to lalaport, which is a new shopping mall...

And there is no 5G signal in this shopping mall
Also no signal for Yes in the underground area...it is surprised me..

Same I have another Digi SIM and I only can use this to make payment using ewallet and call Grab back to hotel....

fun fact Celcom have no signal in Lalaport Sony Store while Digi can achieve 100Mbps+ , Maxis can achieve 50Mbps+

Can I exchange my Yes 4G card for a 5G sim and keep the number?. Reason I have some balance in the sim and I want it to be 5G ready.

Better go to Yeoh Tiong Lay "authorized" centres to get it done properly. If we do it ourselves, the steps is very extremely hyper super duper tricky....those with IQ one million also cannot do it properly...

need very good EQ as well.

I never encountered poor handover between Yes 4G and DNB 700MHz 4G & 5G NSA on OnePlus 8 Pro , but this happen on Poco F3 / Huawei Mate 40 Pro
OnePlus 8 Pro handover is no disconnect , very smooth , no distruptions
Poco F3 & Mate 40 Pro will become no service / data disconnected

and even OnePlus 8 Pro isn't on the support list

Is T mobile 5G a real 5G?

0.5Gbps max....

if i not mistake US still dont have 5G, they use fake logo to cover 4g
