It happened to me while my line was in grace period.

After I topped up, didn't need to do anything.

OK. Me think there is a reason they do such procedure...

While our SIM is in Grace Period, we do not need to "hog" the 5G spectrum becoz no data is allowed and only calls/SMS/TAC/MSOS codes are allowed... therefore, it is "economical" to kick-out those Grace Period SIMs back into 4G spectrum(s) and "allocate" more bandwidth to others who is still in active SIM status ....

agreed, and at least we still get VoLTE under grace period with Yes unlike DiGi who downgrade us to the Middle Ages 2G

So the pattern DURING "Grace Period" SIMs in #JENDELA_gagal era is as follows:

1) 5G-now telcos = 5G downgraded to 4G
2) 5G-ready telcos = 4G downgraded to 2G
3) 3G = very reliable but politics destroy the reliability....LOl....

Today went to Plaza Arkaida, only have 5G signal in those area you can see the sky, 1 bar - 3 bar signal strength with around 400Mbps speed.

I went to a shop located at the 2nd floor of a building, only have Yes 4G signal with 800Mhz that frequency, speed test only show 1-2Mbps.

I also went to the grocery shop which is located underground, Yes does not have any signal at all, switch to Digi and full bar 2600Mhz signal, speed test have 60Mbps++....

So, I won't be able to use ewallet to pay the grocery stuff if I only have Yes SIM card.

just try lo, im using mi 10 lite, not listed and no official release here, max speedtest achieve 1.3Gbps around TTDI
