It's been almost 20 years since we contested a domestic final? Hope we win it again.

The main difference I can see between our side and City is City rarely get complacent. They maintain shape, maintain possession better when in the lead. I feel we sometimes think the points are won at half time. Committing too many men when breaking forward but when play break down, we're totally exposed. A better team would've scored 2 or 3 goals with the chances we gifted away just now. BOTAK_WAI liked this post

Trent has been poor, Fabinho has been poor, Hendo and Jones not imposing, Jota almost invisible, Bobby not contributing in attack. This is more like hanging on now.

The point is Jota took the ball past the keeper dy. Whether or not he would've converted, that we will not know because he was taken out by the keeper.

Soft penalty yes. I would've been livid if I were a Palace fan.
The overall performance from 30th minute onwards is really worrying. |

We could've lost 3-4 or 3-5 if not for Alisson. Definitely MOTM.
Can't wait for Salah and Mane to be back. Good news for us is Senegal and Egypt drawn against each other for WC playoff. So one of them will have a full preseason with us. |

News said linked to Dybala free transfer in the summer. Doubt it's true cos he's 28 and will command high wages.
My unrealistic wishlist will be Haaland/Mbappe or Bellingham. My realistic wishlist will be Bowen/Olise/Ollie Watkins. What I think will happen is Salah signing new contract and Harvey Elliott return from injury 😁 |

Diaz looks an excellent signing, looks like a prime Mane.
But on video highlights, even Speedy Mark Gonzalez looked a world beater 😂 It's not Liverpool's way to pay 50M for squad player. Origi might leave this window, as will Nat Philips if Newcastle come back with another offer closer to 12mil. Expect one of Salah Mane Bobby to leave in the summer as all will be entering final 12 months of their contracts. Definitely good news, if anything it at least keeps our wingers on their toes and boost our chances of catching City and going far in the CL. Might be also a good half season to acclimatize to English football (and weather) for Diaz. |
