Businessman with 'Tan Sri' title arrested over RM10 million scam, say cops.

So far, the suspect has collected about RM10 million from victims. Initially, he had demanded Rm25 million claiming he had close ties with the police and could help resolve their cases.

He further asserted that the money collected would be handed over to the police to prevent the victims from facing any legal or actions under AMLA.

Why these so called victims so easily scared until need to pay the scammers money to “help resolve their cases”?. Must be guilty of something otherwise why the need to pay?

As the chairman of a plc, the tan sri shouldn't get involved. Many foreign funds, banks and mnc will likely blacklist his companies.

I've always suspected that the scam industry in the country is worth hundreds of millions per year from Triumph to other Forex, Crypto, gaharu, bird's nest or whatever other investments that can be cooked up.

Why are people witch hunting Freddy Wong when everyone dreams to be in his position?

The only difference between Freddy and all hamsters is Freddy came to the party early and had the biggest feast while all hamsters scraps for the leftover.

Poor hamsters, failing to reflect on themselves but as always, it's easier to blame others for their greedy heart. They are no different from Freddy.

Because of China, blame it on China for issuing the Red Notice Alert that led to the latest arrest and assets seizures.

If no China, not Red Alert Notice, ...no more news and no witch hunt.

I won't bother to listen much about those "accusations" especially when posted without facts or logic.

Just like these latest I saw, "he say" posting (as per image).

Postings like these that simply naming anyone without any evidence, can divert the focus to the real culprit and helps shield the real culprit from further probing.
So many "faked" or misleading info spreading around can be the works of those real culprits themselves too.
