can anyone recommend where you guys bought your google pixel from ? Besides the one shared in first page from TS.

Considering to buy a 5a or 6a.
*
T&L telkom on shopee. Cheapest was, 1.4k. Bought 6a from them because they dont put warranty void if torn sticker on the phone, unlike many other sellers on shopee.

Would like to ask as well, would it be any issue with the warranty buying from T&l? Incase of any issue with the unit
*
No idea as I never had any phones that needed RMA.

But looking at random comments on the shopee listings from T&L, it looks like they do honor their warranty period.

Anyone had any luck with VoLTE with yodoo on their Pixel 6a or 6 in general?

This is a headache, I contacted support for a month now, nothing materialized. They said my phone is not in their list of supported phone, but the VoLTE setting is available on the phone.

I'm thinking porting out to Digi now. Does Digi support e-SIM for Pixel 6 / 6a?

I suggest you jump ship asap. Yes esim from digi works on pixel phones. I used digi esim last year with my 6 pro. Works perfectly.
*
I forgot yodoo is in a way actually Celcom. It's wild how Celcom volte was limited to only postpaid customer back in 2021.

Now CelcomDigi already heard yoodo will close soon. But sad since I use the 2gb per month plan that is the cheapest still
*
Yeah, their 100 minute plan cheapest just RM5. I use it for work, but the lousy support refuses to enable the VoLTE for me. Fingers crossed I don't have more important calls until the port out process completed because 2G call quality isbad.

Hi. Today I just realized my 6a might have a problem.

Phone was in my pocket and I was driving. I heard faint sound of my phone ringing, pull the phone out from my pocket and to my surprise, there was nothing displayed on the screen. Parked the car, check call history, no miss call so I thought I was just hearing something else.

But it turns out the phone auto declined my calls. I only noticed this one week after the call. And it was an important call. fml.

Wondering if this happened to anyone else.

I never have this issue.
Did u put the phone on DND? I'm not sure if DND will behave like that in the setting
I remember some phone while on DND will reject calls
*
Just regular mode. Didn't turn on do not disturb mode.

And pixel call history doesn't help with this case since the recent call history is buried under caller name.

the number that called you wasn't saved in your contact? did you enable spam filter? maybe it detected it as spam call.
*
Not saved, but i have caller ID and spam filter enabled in settings. it's a verified business number, the phone itself gave a name to the number.

My regular pixel 6 is always warm since last month. Noticeably warm when in use. And my battery just about lasting office hours unless I rarely use it during the day. Previously I can go out after work, no worry about battery. Now I have to top up my battery if I'm going out after work. Overnight drain is normal, about 4% to 5%. Few months ago I faced something similar and it was because of samsung health, so I uninstall the update. This time I don't know what caused it. I don't really mind charging during the day but the warm during usage is really annoying.
*
Sounds like my 6a tbh. Not sure what happened. From 6am to 8pm, I only use the phone for 30 minutes the battery drained by 50%. Other days when I use it for 3 hours, it was down to 30% by 6pm. Nothing draining the battery except mobile network. Battery is much more better if I connect to wifi.

Does using 2 sims drain the battery faster? I start the day from 6am, by 8pm battery is down to 30%. Screen on time is about 2 hours. Pixel 6a.

It's different when the phone is connected to wifi. Usually will have 60% by 8pm.

hi, I'm using physical maxis postpaid + yoodo prepaid esim on my unrooted US pixel 6. since my maxis line is my main number to make & receive calls, it's getting really annoying with very very frequent drop calls. on my yoodo no issue. people cannot call me on maxis & it will shows as missed calls afterwards.

anyone else having the same issue on maxis postpaid? any workaround for this? sigh...

sometimes can only get thru for 5 seconds then both side cannot hear anything.
*
Sounds like I have the same problem. Using dual sim, both are digi. Sometimes my calls are not HD, volte not enabled somehow. Sometimes I cannot receive SMS. Sometimes when I make a call, the phone drop signal to 2G, losing internet data.

I think the easy fix is to not use dual sim on this phone. It's just chaotic. I'm considering 7a as my main phone and 6a for 2nd phone.

Today my 6a yeeted itself from my pants pocket, right onto the hard unforgiving concrete. 3 large crack run through the screen. Everything working fine, but it's a rather sad view.

I guess this is the end of my journey with pixel. I need to find something more compact and not so slippery.

sad to say it went suicidal ... you didnt put any case?
*
Case makes this phone too thicc to my liking, and makes hard to slide into pocket. Screen protector won't help in this case tho, it hit right at the edge where the screen curves. But without case, this phone slides right off on any surface.

I miss the good ol' time when phones are 5.5 inch.

hard to find more compact android phone than this

maybe Zenfone or Xperia line would be smaller, or s23 regular

anyway, just got my pixel 6a, overall it's a pleasant experience to use such a small phone after using s22u, even more compact than my iphone 12 pro
*
Waiting for Xperia 10 V, but have to wait for another 2 months. Plus the price really absurd, probably better get Zenfone 9.

Zenfone 9 probably won't have much support, almost 1 year already. But it doesn't make the phone any less functional. hmm.gif

yeah, iphone 12 mini and iphone 13 mini is perfect phone for some people, super small, good software support, great camera

maybe our members that break his 6A can also consider it

too many apple didn't continue that

anyway, the screen on time on battery setting is not helping at all, even fully charged,it wont reset to zero sweat.gif takes time to get use to this 6a

I actually sold my 13 mini before buying the current 6A. Apple have great hardware 13 mini size is great, but I just cant stand iOS.
