definitely screen protector that covers the whole bar will distort the lens. Last time my Huawei Nexus 6p drop to sand area at the beach, one of the sand scratch the camera bar, but lucky did not affect the lens area.

QUOTE(lonelywolf90 @ Nov 13 2021, 12:32 PM) Speaking about prices, I guess we're only expecting to pay higher and higher as time goes by. Flagship phones have been increasing steadily with introduction to higher tier models and pro models, we can't certainly chase after each flagship, our salary no increment while our cost of living keep going up. expecting higher pay will be hard considering Malaysia's economic position. Our currency, level of competitiveness remain low, foreign investor also looking into our neighbor countries instead of Malaysia, not to mention that the MCO hit us hard many people lost their job. the best thing is to get into the right job, right company, invest and earn more if we want to chase for the latest gadgetBy the way, did any of you already get the Pixel 6 Pro from resellers? Has anyone also tried the Ringke Clear Case Matte yet? Or do you have better recommendations for Clear cases? This post has been edited by chriscym: Nov 13 2021, 12:45 PM cruzzmz liked this post

QUOTE(bahjan_2000 @ Nov 14 2021, 04:29 PM) They would probably reply with 'please change your phone to certified bla bla'and proceed to offer their phones with contracts I am pretty sure the complaint will work for 4G service, 2G not so sure but can try no harm trying. Once my colleague home have an coverage issue, so happen the head of network operations was sitting just in front of her, she make the complaint directly to the big boss, and of course he instructed his staff to manage this issue. I thought my colleague is very brave, we are from the IT team but the telco I work in is an open concept office, so we sit anywhere we want so sometimes we sit around some big bossesBut then I wonder if complaint to telco and MCMC can work. I mean they're guaranteeing coverage for this 3G sunset thing, eh? If their standard answer is change your phone/telco/move to another house'', then, well.. |

QUOTE(cruzzmz @ Nov 16 2021, 12:49 PM) no, pixel 1 is unlimited + unlimited quality (can upload 4k video and more than 16 megapixel photos into Google Photos), pixel 2 to pixel 5 is just unlimited but cap to certain quality (max HD video & 16 megapixel photos only). Yes like 1 bro commented , need to transfer to pixel 1 and upload from there to make use of the unlimited upload. This post has been edited by chriscym: Nov 16 2021, 02:15 PM |

QUOTE(hihihehe @ Nov 17 2021, 09:59 AM) so far this seller is the cheapest so risky he is taking 2.1k for deposit! unless he sells through Shopee or something that can give assurance, else it will be risky deal besides never heard his name nor he is as reputable as Shirogawa?. Just like the PS5 sinchan scam case recently, better be safe than sorryhttps://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopic=5214262&hl= anyone bought something from him before? I recently ordered a custom hand made Japanese long bow from japan, around 1k USD, and that will take him 1 year to make, the guy did not collect any deposit from me. QUOTE(bahjan_2000 @ Nov 17 2021, 11:11 AM) Off topic but how can that pass customs? It's basically a lethal weapon yes Off topic, bow is considered as sports item but the arrow tip is not spear type, yes even normal bow tip used for sports it can be a lethal weapon even kitchen knife can be a weapon it all depends on the user. But under the definition of bow that requires license Malaysia government stated that Cross bow or other bow with a push release mechanism require license, otherwise don't need to, kastam just allow it to pass. In the past years I took it to overseas for competition and back and forth without issues, Kastam did ask I just say busar Jepun, they are cool. But yea got several reputable sellers around already, I think. But to each his own. This post has been edited by chriscym: Nov 17 2021, 11:42 AM |

QUOTE(cruzzmz @ Nov 17 2021, 12:12 PM) It is either the risk bear by buyer or the seller. I prefer the later if possible. However if Seller like TechBug , who is reputable I think it is safe to pay in full for pre order. I am still waiting for next availability of a Cloudy White P6 pro, not sure when will the order open againThis post has been edited by chriscym: Nov 17 2021, 02:29 PM |

QUOTE(QuickFire @ Nov 17 2021, 05:12 PM) Yeah I pre-ordered from Shirogawa and found out later that if the parcel is lost after he ships it, it's the buyer's loss. Personally I don't think this is fair - if you're running a business for profit, it is the seller's responsibility to ensure the item reaches the buyer. Buy postal insurance and if the parcel is lost, refund the money and get it back from the post office/insurer. his price is cheaper than techbug by few ringgit, maybe not worth afterall in needed to add in insurance.I had to add on insurance as an additional cost myself. |

anyone ordering the 256 gb P6? I just check today Google USA for Pro 128gb is opening up for order again, so I am hopeful techbug will open the order soon.
I am wondering if 256gb is an overkill. I hardly take 4k video, but if I need to 256gb will come handy with the extra capacity especially when use during travel. This post has been edited by chriscym: Nov 19 2021, 03:06 PM |

QUOTE(cruzzmz @ Nov 19 2021, 04:06 PM) but a 4k video can easily take up a GB of space. Unless i backup everyday to Google Photos and remove to clear space which I usually do during my travel days, I'm so tied into the Google ecosystem, if Google Photos backup gone I am screwed coz all my photos collection is in there. Saw techbug selling Rm500 difference between 128 and 256, hmm maybe I should go with 128gb afterall. |

QUOTE(wanttotree @ Nov 17 2021, 03:43 PM) As per requested, finally got the time to install the cheapo hydrogel screen protector. First impression, still quite a bit of bubbles, hopefully will go away in a day or two. Most surprisingly the hydrogel feels like glass, no rubbery feel at all like i had on my p4xl back then. I guess they improved their tech. Not bad for rm5. may I know where did you buy the hydrogel? are you happy with the quality so far? |

QUOTE(wanttotree @ Nov 19 2021, 05:05 PM) Couple of days of use, the quality is good for the price. Rm 5 for 2 pieces is insane value. It gave me 2 pieces with punch hole cutout and 2 without. Not sure if i wanna use the one without the punch hole. Protector for camera is also included but i dont use them. Quality wise, i can see myself using this for at least 1-3 months per piece. I still think i need a proper glass protector cz i know im a clumsy mf. thanks Bro for your review. Yes I would prefer glass still. I saw there is another hydrogel variant which is harder for protectionhttps://shopee.com.my/product/54053837/1036...59-1637312721.9 https://shopee.com.my/Google-Pixel-6-Pro-Hd...5f-febb0531071a |
