Hi guys,

I have struggling in getting MYEG 1MID Appointment for thumbprint from my IC for photo purpose.

Here is the case. My license has expired in June, since was MCO i decided to renew through MYEG Online in August. Then it say i did not have valid photo for MYEG proceed renewing my CDL License but there is an option of paying Rm10 for 1MID Appointment arriving on my door step for IC thumbprint.

So currently is coming the end on September, i have email MYEG several time, i did got a reply but it was not helpful nor any further process move on. i also did call MYEG contact centre which happen to be i never get answer from the phone.

i am struggling that i have paid the renewal fee and appointment fee and seems like everything has stopped, which i cant get my payment back, i cant ask for faster 1mid appointment action, i cant reach contact centre call, i cant get effective and responsible reply on emails, i do not know where and who i can approach to get things done quickly.

so, if anybody has an idea or been through similar issue, please do reply and give me a hand. it will be much appreciated.

I'm in the same boat.
I renewed 2 driving license at the same time mid-Aug,
one with IC photo in their database, one without...
The one with IC photo already received, but that is in mid-Sep, took near to a month...
The one without IC photo, has yet to receive, and has no news at all...

I checked the status thru

only the one with IC photo has status update.

I tried checking here, it does reflect that the driving license expiry date has been updated tho,
Which state are you from?
I think the queue for each states may differ...

I did ask the MyEg staff who delivered my license, and he said MyEg is prioritizing the road tax renewal, and the queue is long...
He suggested me to call the office of MyEg of my state to enquire the status, but I havn't done so...

why need MYEG now? Pos office tons of it already.

I don't know what is happening with JPJ's system.
My licence was renewed at post office 5 years ago (from laminated type to new card type) and it uses my IC photo extracted from JPN.

Recently I tried renewing at MySikap and it told me no photo in database or something like that. No need to guess what myeg will show if i try renewing at myeg.

Went to post office and managed to renew with no issue. It saved me from the trip to JPJ.

I went to pos office last week and they said license renewal only can be done at JPJ. You know which pos office at Klang Valley can do renewal?

Mid Valley pos office can renew just went last week

no, canot, only certain pos office are authorized to perform the license renewal, dont ask me why?!n stupid right.

Both mine and hubby expired, and I manage to renew at the appointed pos at subang but my hubby cannot it seems all the old license of A, B, D, need to have a new update or removing the A, hence POS cannot do it, must go to JPJ.

He tried the padang jawa pos, but queue crazier than PPV, do depa nal buat bulan 11 or 12 aje la, bila crowd dah reda

I did mine last week at POS at USJ 19 Mall, GND floor , USJ subang jaya .
both my road tax 5 months expired , licence 2 months expire CAn be renew .
just bring your IC .

was there at 3 pm . only 1 guy in front of me ...
done under 10 mins.

Post Offices Open For Walk-Ins For Renewal Of JPJ Services Effective 6 September 2021

We are pleased to announce that effective 6 September 2021, customers will be able to walk-in to any of our post offices nationwide to renew their Lesen Kenderaan Motor (road tax) and Lesen Memandu Malaysia (driving licence).



Customers with existing JPJ renewal service appointments may continue with their appointments at their preferred date, time and location or just walk-in to any one of our post offices to carry out their renewal. You may use our ‘Outlet Finder’ feature on our website at www.pos.com.my or on the Pos Malaysia mobile app, to find the post office that is nearest to your location.



To keep both our employees and our customers safe, we will continue to implement SOPs as directed by the health authorities at all of our post offices, including limiting the number of customers inside our premises, mandatory usage of face masks, temperature checks, scanning of the MySejahtera code and physical distancing of 1 metre from others.



Customers with COVID-19 symptoms will not be allowed to enter any Pos Malaysia outlets.

I am not feeling lonely and scary now when i knew there is someone actually suffering same as i do, hahaha feel sad for me and yours CDL LICENSE, feels like never gonna receive again hahhaa.

I'm not sure if you know, seems like we have to make appointment through 1MIDAPPOINMENT website by MYEG, for their staff to reach our doorstep to collect biometric thumbprint from our IC. However, i made the appointment on mid-september, i never see a MYEG staff appearing through out these time.

yea and also, i emailed MYEG customer service, they also simply reply my email by telling me check the delivery status at their website, which there is no record found at all.

i also did try calling their service phone number, NO ONE answer, i tried hours and days consecutively. haih
I'm in Selangor, Kajang area.

Hopefully what the MYEG staff told you is true and wish the renewal traffic is getting back normal soon.

Please update me if you manage to get your CDL License quicker or received already, i really need some method or hope to live on with MYEG.

I didn't make any appointment, and the MYEG staff showed up on 1st Oct for 1MID appointment.
Then, the staff attempted the license delivery the following Tues/Wed, I couldn't remember which day, but the license came around a few working days after the 1MID appointment thumbprint read successfully.

Btwn, I'm in Penang. I guess the queue for each states differ.
