yes, when you set up a new iPhone and select "transfer from other iPhone", by default it uses Wi-Fi direct (peer-to-peer) networking. you can also make the process go faster by connecting them together with the L-to-L cable

iCloud storage space is shared, but family members cannot see what files/pics/stuff that each other put in iCloud, only how many GB they use.

however, what is shared with everyone can include:
- other apple services like music, tv+, arcade
- locations of all devices through Find My app
- apps & purchases from App Store
- payment method belonging to family head (meaning the family member can buy in-app purchase and it will be charged to family head's CC)

so i don't recommend anyone to do family sharing with people outside their real family

as far as i know, all those third party lightning-to-usb otg adapters only work for charging or files. because to transfer audio, the adapter needs a chip inside that can translate lightning audio signals to usb audio signals which usually results in a bigger adapter

the only lightning to usb adapter that can do this is the apple lightning to usb 3 camera adapter

picked up my case and charger from switch mytown

when i went there right, they had one unit left for 13 pro max case in green, but when i check website say tak ada 🤦🏻

imos sapphire tg installed! now can start transferring data haha

2 hours to go on my wireless setup...

that's definitely a broken display - wherever you bought it from deserves to give you a new one. bring it up with apple support so you have a case number and quote it to the place where you bught it from
