how was the experience using the S7 compares to S6? worth the buy?

My series 6 is a nike 44mm gps cellular, while my series 7 is a 45mm stainless steel gps cellular

In term of the screen, I am happy with the bigger screen size, the weight is also nicer slightly heavier which I like

Battery life is somewhat similar to be honest, but a plus for series 7 for faster charging

Other than that, stainless steel version glass supposed to be tougher “sapphire”

To me worth the upgrade

I came from an ancient but trustworthy aluminium 42mm S2. When i 1st got my SS silver 45mm S7 i was amazed by how far apple watch has evolved.

Everything about it is new (to me). 42mm -> 45mm is a huge noticeable diff. Always on display. Fast charging.

its larger screen is a bigger deal than i’d imagine. The s7 uses its bigger screen to great effect, giving a genuine upgrade over older models.

the shipment got picked by DHL from china last friday,
until now still no any detail update...

This is my first post at Lowyat, ever

I've been following this forum for last few weeks, as I ordered my watch on 23rd October.

Just wanted to update everyone that unlike others, my watch is getting shipped from Singapore instead of China. (I know it must have come from China to Singapore first).

My card was charged last night, and today at 5:45PM it was shipped via UPS Singapore. Within 1 hour the status changed from "Origin Scan, Changi, Singapore" to "On the Way, Changi, Singapore". Fingers crossed, it might arrive at KLIA tonight, and delivered by tomorrow or Wednesday.

Just wanted to let everyone know that shipments may be faster once it's processed, since it's coming from Singapore for some people.

Will update once I receive it.

But don't be too excited. A lot of orders also started from SG but then our Apple products loves to "return" to their motherland China (Shanghai or ShenZhen) before coming to MY. It's just my suspect that SG handles our orders and they put the order onto the plane to CN to be picked up. Technically, they are flying barcodes/empty cargo to CN to pick it up and then delivered to MY.

If the plane lands in SZB (Subang airport), prepare to have a full day of "custom clearance". For instance, if your order arrive in SZB by 8-10am, it will be "pending custom clearance" until 7 or 8pm before it moves out of SZB.

how's ur S7 holding up? i read that the scratch are more visible on the silver one than the others.

Surprisingly good. Yeah. Read tht silver scratches easily. So far, I don’t see any visible scratches (maybe I’m in denial and I don’t look hard enough.. hahaha).

I wear it almost all the time. Naked all the way. Sleep, runs, work.

The only time I don’t wear it is when i shower. Other than that, the S7 is on my wrist. I can’t stop looking at it and admiring it. 😂😂

bro thats apple original SS strap or aftermarket?

don’t know is they no update the shipment status or really havent start deliver

Received sms saying item will deliver by today but tracking shows it hasnt even left China yet 🥲

My AW7 already picked up by DHL in Zhejiang since noon 20th Nov
After that no movement until today....

Upgraded from S6 to S7. It looks similar but the bigger screen definitely noticeable. The screen upon dimmed, looks way brighter as well. Lastly, the fast charging. I can wear this watch all day and charging not take long as S6.

Did u contact Apple?

Looks like quite a few ppl facing the same issue

I think maybe it has moved but no tracking updates provided.
I think most of us here got the shipping update on Friday/Saturday and it hasnt left China since (in the tracking)

Anyway, this S7 delivery is very bad. I really think they are not 100% up to capacity at production side.
Must be some factory not opened or materials not enough etc.

Look at my orders.
Ordered Apple Watch first, and the others way later.
But others already received.
The iPhone received less than a week from order. Ordered on 13th and received on 18th. 5 days woo.
