Just finished setting up my 45mm stainless steel graphite, still stuck on reactivating back the cellular on it, need to go to a Digi store 😅
Upgraded from series 6 aluminum 44mm gps cellular. Overall happy with the upgrade, it does feel a bit premium, and I really like the extra weight compared to my series 6 aluminum Let’s see how fast it will get scratches as I don’t use casing or tempered glass on it. Been using naked Apple watch after upgrading from Series 1 to Series 6 cause I find it too bulky with casing |

QUOTE(andrewtho @ Nov 16 2021, 11:14 AM) Welcome to the club. I wanted the milanese loop unit, but that day they only have the sports band, planning to buy the graphite milanese band soon.Your glass won’t scratch so easily since its ‘Sapphire’ but its prone to cracking if hit with an impact. The body however, is a little more delicate - mine already scuffed within the first 2 days of use with the Milanese Loop since its DLC (diamond like coating) - harder than the Stainless Steel. Right now just reusing the old leather band that I used on my series 6 |

QUOTE(anwarmatlani @ Nov 22 2021, 10:45 AM) is it any significant difference between series 6 & 7? and how is the ss durability? i know the glass is stronger than aluminum. how bout the body? is it really prone to scratch? Definitely faster charging on my series 7, I still have my series 6. So far my 1 week old series 7 stainless steel have no visible scratches yet, my series 6 is about 5 months old already have scuffs but not that noticeable. I don’t use case or glass protector on both,It makes them too bulky This post has been edited by fox_shinoda: Nov 22 2021, 12:32 PM |

QUOTE(watekeke @ Nov 22 2021, 12:22 PM) Can't answer that as I don't have s6. Maybe others can help confirm it if charge using the usb C with s6 same speed or not Fast charging is only compatible with Apple Watch Series 7. Other models will have regular charge times.Source |

QUOTE(anwarmatlani @ Nov 22 2021, 04:31 PM) My series 6 is a nike 44mm gps cellular, while my series 7 is a 45mm stainless steel gps cellular In term of the screen, I am happy with the bigger screen size, the weight is also nicer slightly heavier which I like Battery life is somewhat similar to be honest, but a plus for series 7 for faster charging Other than that, stainless steel version glass supposed to be tougher “sapphire” To me worth the upgrade |

QUOTE(splinter @ Nov 23 2021, 03:02 PM) You mean the screen scratch or body? I though they claim the screen is tough and pass some stress test? The watch body still prone to scratches, however the screen they claim the series 7 is more durable than series 6, I have not scratch my series 6 screen yet after 5-6 months of usage. As I mentioned in my previous post, I don’t like putting casing or screen protector on any of my Apple Watch after using Series 1It makes them too bulky to my liking This post has been edited by fox_shinoda: Nov 23 2021, 03:29 PM Barricade liked this post

QUOTE(PoisonSoul @ Dec 6 2021, 08:34 AM) I gotten the product red one. Call me stingy but I did not spend alot on case. I just bought a cheap one from Shopee but after 2-3 days, I decide to stop using it because, I like to wash my watch as I bath which the water will go in the case which I have to remove the case. Mind you the case is plastic (not TPU/rubber) where it might leave a scratch on the Watch if I keep doing so. So I decide to let it be naked, and just be super careful. My old series 1 was using spigen tough armor case, if there is dirt, dust, particles trapped inside there will be scratches. No more Apple Watch case for me, just naked all the wayAs for straps, looking. I really like the Milanese loop but it’s so expensive (from Apple). zuhaili87 liked this post
