if you dont mind gambling chances of the civic's steering rack. just go for it.

I’m planning to sell off my 2 year old FE already and get a Mazda instead

- rack issues
- hard seats (not comfortable for me and wife, sakit buntut
- interior, door panels, power window rattles everywhere like an old car

Other than that, it’s a good car to drive. But I don’t think I can live with it anymore especially the rack issues I’m facing.

So it all depends on you. For me I’ll just get the S70.

currently looking at the cx30 and the 3.

really potong stim the civic sometimes, early morning good mood, start engine steering tuk, sticky steering..
want to appointment for checking 2 months , after checking, oh sound too soft cannot claim.

if manage to claim, wait for parts 1-2 months, appointment for fixing another 2 months.

after claim, send car to alignment, after another 2-3 months, tuk and sticky appear again..

repeat this whole process x 3 x 4 times.. fedup la

definitely high chance as the parts are already defective at the first place.

I think dealers are aware of the problematic rack. My car dealers offers below 90k, there was one even ask me how many time claimed steering rack
