i think the typical is the dealer to try fix it

in theory the defect found in PDI or after is something happen during transit and possible to be fixed

there are cases where the dealer ship will ask to accept with promise to fix afterwards or arrangement to fix from service center

you can withhold to accept, but unless it is a severe issue, they will fix it in order to get the approval

Probably they will repair till you are satisfied. Not sure though, any other people experienced this before may advise more on this.

same like u buying house , once it register under your name , if anything happen they will just repair til u satisfy

Additional observations:

1. After driving around a number of passengers, can now say that it is confirmed that the rear passenger comfort has been improved - wider and more legroom. Much more easier to go in and out compared to the FC.
2. The glovebox is a noticeable weakpoint for the FE. Not only is it smaller compared to the FC, but the opening would require the front passenger to flatten / withdraw their legs towards their body. This is not the case with the FC.
3. The Honda Connect app is really good! Yes, can remote start, check fuel capacity, distance, battery condition etc, but the most interesting feature is it records your drive. Not only does it record your driving time, average speed and max speed, it also records your route. Unsure how long will they keep the records for though. Also, how long is the included subscription and how much is the annual fee. Yes, this can also be a privacy concern, but it is something good in my opinion.

Honda CKD paints (more specifically, its clear coat) has been notoriously thin and soft.

This is the cheap method to make the color/base coat "pop" and look better.
The expensive methods are better/thicker clear coat along with better curing methods that most CBU cars or Conti cars have.

Beware of too much polishing/compounding as well -thin clear coat would mean you'll run through it very fast until the base coat.

True that mazda CBU paint too prone to stone chips. Incl windscreen (quite a portion users have windscreen crack, mine got small lines)

Its unavoidable if u drive highway high speed. Slow lane lorries or front lorries hogging fast lane inevitably spill sands.

The only way is to PPF the car. Mininum full front.

Some car paint experts explained (G guard for the matter) new cars last 5 years paint tech is such a way it looks shiny, glossy and if chip its chip of that specific segment.
But old cars if chip, it cracks a line of one tile length.

Its just simply technology around paint and like it or not we have to deal with it.

At least, honda cars paints are easy to replicate.

Mazda 3 and cx30 paints are not so. The soul red used in Japan mazda and soul red glenmarie 4s repair centre shows stark difference of red,shared in mazda groups.
Moreover theres this S shaped side door panel reflectiveness. U damage it, u wanna repaint it, u wont get the same effect.

Cannot tahan, went for polish & hard wax. Luckily all the scratches are removed after a quick polish. Beware again ya guys - do soften up the bird droppings (blast it with water, or just leave the wet wipes on it) before gently wiping it off.

Test drive liao FE just now.

Initial thoughts upon entering the car(RS):
1) As wide as Civic FC.
2) It feels like A pillar is thick
3) the blackout interior/roof is "soothing" to me
4) Why the seat feels like there's something there pushing against my butt?

During and after drive:
1) 180Ps 240Nm is srsly no joke
2) Sport mode holds up to 6k rpm and still allowing me to go. I no balls already so I shift up
3) Acceleration is just, srsly, wow.
4) Cornering was not bad. Thks to the ultra-suade seats to keep me in the seat. (Could be RS only applicable opinion since tyres are PS4 and seats are semi leather)
5) Wish there was a HUD. Driving fast and I have "no time" to look down at my speed. I'm used to have the cheap HUD bought from an ecommerce website in my current car.
6) My SA keep ask me "corner can tekan only. go tekan only" and I'm like "??????? u wanna die? u want to pay for the car's damages if anything happens?"
7) Drive Mode selector abit susah to reach during driving. Maybe because first time drive it so not used to the placing of it.
8) After driving, I walk around the car to see if I can "appreciate" it. 80% appreciated until I see the back of the car is just so meh. Btw, this test drive car got a full spec-ed out Modulo and all of the accessories lah. (Disclaimer: 80% is I close eye on the modulo accessories)
Verdict:
1) WOW
2) V spec cukup if you are not gonna always fly corners = don't need the ultra suade seats. Also, I did not bother about the existence of that duck tail or not. 6k go take ppf or tint.
3) Civic's 18" tyre configuration is quite xpensive. 17" is cheaper.

My test drive place:
- Honda Botanic Klang
- test drive area -> 2 long straight roads with a corner at the end. I was able to fly 140++. Good mixture of highway and town/city driving (after that 2 straight roads is connected back with normal roads with holes and roundabouts)

Don't ask me compare driving this vs M competitor. Don't wanna later be called out as bias to either one of it. Go test drive yourself.

it is based on human nature..when u wan move to left, your focus and vision is focus toward left side & u got lanewatch to help u on blind spot..when u wan move to right..u will focus on right instead on the center screen, it is more dangerous to do so..this is why lanewatch only 1 side

Normal collection stuff as you wrote there. There aren’t any known particular defect to look out for AFAIK. Do visit a nearby tyre pressure pump and correct the tyre pressure to 220kpa immediately after collecting your car.

My previous preve turbo was using Racechip till I sell the car. No problem so far. We should not boost to the max as there tend to have turbo spike. Over boost will kill the engine. Same goes to my putra gsr turbo. Boost to 1 bar from original 0.6bar though std engine can boost to 1.5 bar. Used for 23 years till I sold the car. Engine still strong n healthy.

Unlike remapping of ecu where your car is tuned on a dynometer, racechip is mass production based on a specific car model. It is pretuned base on a few stages with different output. To play safe, I went for the moderate stage.
I presume that Suprima did not run on dyno to check on the A/F, exhaust temperature etc and perhaps the car is not in standard form.
Too many possibilities for engine failure.
