the main menu is in english...just like mhp2...

At least they gave the fixed Hypnoc in G, when Hypnoc was first introduced in Frontier, it was broken as hell if you solo.

hmmmm not quite sure what you mean by broken,
didn't get to play frontier.

I just had a test run. the Hypnoc looks almost harmless
but can really pack a punch.

and the greatly loved akantor armour set has been nerfed.

nomore highgrade earplugs boo hoo...

When Hypnoc first appeared in Frontier, it has an attack that it ONLY does when you solo it. Hypnoc would spit a sleep bomb at you and once it hits, it'll continue spitting sleep bombs until you die and you can't do anything about it. Even if you don't get hit by that sleep bomb, once you get hit by any of it's sleep attacks (which I notice are missing in MHP2G), it'll do the sleep loop.

I notice Hypnoc is missing at least 2 attacks in this version. First is a sleep gas release when he flies backwards and the second is where it'd stand and shake its head releasing sleep gas. I also haven't seen the attack where he throws a bunch of sleep bombs into the air and they fall randomly in a large area so I'll assume that's gone for now.

I cant understand the game. Hahaha. I guess i'll wait for english patch. I'm using 3.90m33-2 and i can load MHP2 savegame. I dont remember when is the last time i use MHP2 and what firmware it was. I think i stop when MHF2 was out.

same with me.. i stop playin MHP2 after MHF2 released..
So i haven't even fight akantor yet in MHP2..
i'll wait..

This 2 skills are in the game. I saw it perform this skills while I was fighting it.

Never seen it perform this skill yet, maybe it will uses it in real G Rank quest or something.

i have no problem importing the my save file to MHP2G im using 3.71m33-3 previously using OE-B version that time to play...

when i was playing jap MHP2 that time i have to memories all the symbol of the Item...lol
now can easily enjoy MHP2G....lot of new item come out lioa..
lot of armor modified ............not as powerful as the old MHP2 .....bow also change alot...some can fire arrow in 2 stage and some can go up to 4 stage without any skill....
new ore and new bug....new cat too..

who want english patch for MHP2? Not sure if it can apply to 2G or not. Anyone care to try out? send me PM for it.

Nope..cannot...

as i read in gamefaqs forum.. the media install is to help u extract a few media/sound file into MSPD..
this is to load ur game & sound faster than before..
i'm not sure about this statement but if its true then it would help u to load faster..
in my opinion, media install just to extract soundfile for faster loading if u r using UMD MHP2G..
So don't hav to install media if using Ai-Ess-Oooh.. 'i think'
u can just try to play 1st without install the media..
then install it to compare.. if nothing improve then u can just delete the media folder from ur MSPD..
