Oh I've called PBB twice in a span of a week & they said they received no transaction attempt at all with the PIB MC.

so they aware this merchant and they can investigate why islamic mastercard not working
ipay88 told me error code is DO NOT HONOR
not sure whether the same error they tell you
i told pbb this is the error given by merchant

i think is the lucky draw from zcity tickets

Go pay RM50 and replace a new card

NOthing even to do with card when it is payment gateway issue

All TnG eWallet pin refreshed.

This is the reason ipay88 gave me which I think translates the same to what you received.


Just had another phone call with PB CS & was advised to email them with screenshots & detail of said transaction. I tested an RM10 payment to Indah Water via ZCity which as expected failed & took that as a screenshot for them.

Let's see how this goes.

I think the PB CS that I talked to just now is aware of the ZCity issue too. When I mentioned ZCity, she was like "oh, ZCity". Anyway, keep us updated if you receive any finding from PB CS in your mailbox.

1. Issuer == Public Bank.

2. A websearch for "Do Not Honor" returns rejection by the issuer, in this case, Public Bank. My bet is on "high number of fraud cases".

The weird thing is, PIB Visa & other PB cards work. Only PIB MC doesn't work so I suspect it's a ban to prevent the workaround in getting TnG eWallet pin.

Although it seems like only 3 people here with PIB MC (me included) who are affected.

my quantum mastercards ((2 separate principals) were ok this morning. smooth sailing.


pib mastercard failed. didnt retry. will just let it be for the moment. working fine for many months without any prolonged declined/rejection.

occasionally, i do faced processing failure with pib mastercard, but usually "restored" few days later, then can pass through the payment successfully.


this time around, the "block/DNH" seems to be systemic/global in nature.

My PBB MC being suffered from that problem **after** i do consecutive 5 time payment .

feels like they imposed transaction limit for CNP/ecom transactions

Later i go try "reset" with a CP/pin transaction


*update: reset card with CP/pin txn. same error, declined immediately without reaching OTP page.

Today totally nothing at all... even usually showing sold out... now also not showing anymore...

Usually that means they're refreshing the pins & should be available a short while later.
