This is my kind of rate plan since I have plans to keep a few backup internet plan. I think I will wait and see Celcom's counterattack offer in the future and decide if is better to migrate to this plan.

Based on what you are saying, there is a 5G activation menu under *100*6*4# (for those who are using Hotlink Internet 365 plan). As I didn't have 5G smartphone at the moment (waiting for an upgrade later) and way outside of existing 5G coverage area (I am based in Johor Bahru), I afraid I can't test it for you.

Yup, already changed overnight

Looking on the offerings, despite the reduction of validity for each top up (RM 10 for 30 days VS the previous RM5 for 60 days), it is good to see that 1 year (365 days validity) for RM 30 still pretty much exists, which is great.

Also, their high speed internet offering has also revamped (with the same 365 day validity), with the offering much cheaper than ever before and more data options for everyone. The highest tier RM 30 for 20GB definitely appeals for both light data users and frequent data users who prefer high speed internet.

RM 60 for 1 year validity and 20GB internet usage is definitely great for a backup SIM. Very light data users/those who are using the SIM for GPS/tracking purposes will still benefit from this, as you can pretty much have some data for as low as RM 32/year.

Similar as you too. If my cousin subscribe to data slightly later...
(Have other means for mobile data so may consider subscribe to it when really necessary)

All the allocated data are hotspotable as long the passes are not unlimited/quota based.

When HotlinkMU is more expensive and gives far less value than the usual Pantas offering.

Accidentally activated "unlimited data" passes under HotlinkMU (I am on Hotlink Pantas plan) and found out it isn't unlimited after all.

They give up 40GB for a 4 hour pass, which is unlimited enough for personal use on mobile phone.

Why pay more for less?

My bro - which is on the now old Hotlink prepaid unlimited rate plan, have 4 options to choose to switch. Pantas is still available as an option for him. Might switch his rate plan to new Hotlink prepaid when he renews his plan later.

Will try to do so when his data plan expires on the end of July and I renew it.

Got the RM25 monthly pass for just RM10 (after applying RM15 discount)

For the last day I will probably get the RM10 for 5GB pass (if there is a discount)

You can get 30GB for 30 days for as low as RM2 today with the Merdeka voucher.

Anyone noticed this, if you are using Hotlink Pantas?

They have recently added the high-speed 5G pass (from Hotlink Prepaid) as options.

Pass are as same with New Hotlink Prepaid with the same 4G/5G spilts (RM60 100GB + Border Roaming, RM45 75GB, RM15 Weekly 25GB)
Of course, the long validity passes and 1 year validity are still there.
Definitely a great steal for me as I don't have to swap plans in order to enjoy those new high speed passes.

I wanted to ask if anyone on the now old Prepaid Unlimited plan have the additional options?

Must buy it during active period. Buy it on the last day of active period to maximize the 365 days active period - as it will extend the active period by 365 days from the day of purchase. Nothing can be purchased if during inactive period.

The RM30 is used to purchase ONLY the validity, which will extend it by 365 days from the day of purchase. Shall you need to make calls, send SMS, or purchase mobile data plans, you need to do further top-ups.

All data packages dosen't carry forward to next month/year depending on the type of pass you purchased - once the package expires, then all unused data will be burned.

Well - you can buy monthly internet passes that comes with unlimited calls - which can be expensive depending on the pass you purchased. The option has been there for some time.

Any Hotlink promos during Lunar New Year, like the time they offer on Christmas, Merdeka, Deepavali, New Year? I know of up to 888GB data but that's what they are offering (for now)

You can override the VoWiFi settings on your phone settings and choose prefer WiFi instead of prefer mobile data - phone calls will now be done over WiFi all the time when your device is connected to WiFi.
