Budget: Around 3-3.2k
Usage: Mainly on MS Office I guess?
Hopefully can get at least 8+256, 14 or 15 inch will do,have webcam and less problematic. Quite urgent so better if it is stock ready. Thank you.

Hi, I have decided to get the legion 5 and was wondering if it is safe to game with the lid close since I will be using an external monitor. Will there be any potential damage caused to the laptop screen? I normally game around 2 - 3 hours.

Sure, I would like to have a few options so that I can let my cousin to choose from them. Also for the magicbook, is it the one with r5-4600h you recommended?

Depending what office work. If you have many things open at once then 8GB will give problems. Source: my own usage. Once you have many tabs, then open Zoom or Teams, then difficult di.

Hi, recently I have decided to purchase the Lenovo Legion 5 but after further enquiring most suppliers do not have ready stock at the moment. I am in need of a new laptop (max 1 week wait time) hence, decided to opt for other models. I have the following models in mind which are readily available:-

HP Omen 15 en1000ax - Ryzen 5 5600H, RTX3060 (will manually upgrade ram to 16gb)
Illegear Onyx V (AMD) - Ryzen 7 4800H, RTX3060

I am leaning towards the omen15 for now maybe because I have watched many reviews on this (but mainly on the R7 model) so I roughly know what I am getting as compared to Illegear. However, illegear's specs are too good to look away as well rclxub.gif

My concern about the omen15 is the processor. Can it keep up with future games?

Feel free to state your recommendations as well if you have any other laptops in mind. Thanks.

1. Budget : RM6k
2. Usage : Casual triple AAA single player game in high settings & stock trading (most of the time these usage will be plugged in to my 2560x1080 external monitor)
3. Requirements (display size, battery life, weight etc) : 14-15.6 inches, 4-5 hours, <2.5kg, reliability which could last me for at least 4 - 5 years

Hi, i'm helping my aunt to research for her next laptop purchase. She has been using the Thinkpad T420 which should be around 10 years now.

As Dell is not likely to compete with the Thinkpad in terms of build, she'll most likely stick to Thinkpad. Budget is around 6k. I've tried to narrow down to Thinkpad T14 and P14s but figure the Quadro GPU is not necessary. Is there any potential alternative for Thinkpad T14? No wait time. At least 16GB RAM.

Also she is not convinced with the reliability of the AMD chip yet. Any advice i should let her know? Is the premium worth it for the Intel chip?

Thanks!
