I'm a digital nomad looking for a thin and lightweight laptop. Easy to carry in my backpack.

Budget: 3K - 5K

Usage: Mainly for work purposes (writing articles, blogging and some simple design using Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop). Also, for streaming movies (e.g. Netflix, etc.). Multitasking (e.g. can handle multiple Google Chrome/Firefox tabs). I don't use the laptop for gaming.

Display: 13"-14"

Weight: Less than 1.5 kg

Specs: At least 512GB SSD, 8-16GB RAM. I'm fine with integrated graphics.

Battery Life: Preferably can last 6-8 hours+ per charge

Wait time: 1-2 months

Can you recommend a few different brands and models? No Acer since I had a bad experience using it in the past.

On a side note, is Lenovo Yoga Slim 7/7i Carbon or Pro version worth buying?

Budget: 3.8k to 4.2k (can stretch a little more... just a little)
Use: Multi instance emulator gaming, multi instance PC games and the usual jazz surfing etc
Processor: AMD preferable
GPU: RTX 3050 or RTX 3050 Ti

Looking to use it for long term. I actually thought of Lenovo Ideapad Gaming 3, HP Victus and Acer Nitro 5 but I'm worried about HP and Acer having awful after-sales surpport.

Hi, I plan to buy a laptop to be used with an external monitor. As for the usage, mostly on using Autocad (heavily) and SketchUp. Next to them mostly on Spotify and internet browsing.
