Actually does this car built quality consider bad ?? it seems like there are a lot of minor minor things that occurred in such a new car ..

today revv my baby like mad, 1st & 2nd gear 4-5-6k rpm, aircond Off while driving, roll down both passenger and driver windows 2inch...

now i feel why G2 owner complaint low rpm torque...surch a weird torque characteristic for Campro.
Trafficlight sprint test, once red light turn Green, go baby go...step the gas pedal MAX...but the result is the NEW HONDA CRV(less than 2months old) catching up me, run at side by side till 90km/h...after 100km/h, i let go the gas pedal and slow down liao        

Highway run, met this year2001-02 S80..Swedish marquee S80... from 80..90..110..120...130, 140..145,146,147,148kmh ..   Not sure whether it is S80 T6 version, i already press the gas pedal very hard, 4th gear in D mode kickdown to 3rd, still can't get close to the S80 Tailgate

i didin't notice got 1 City VTEC follow me closely from behind because i m too busy to catch the front Volvo S80...   

I think i got problem driving auto, i miss the old days doing sprint test 0-100kmh on manual tranny

what should be anticipated in the campro is the VIM. the one that promise better low end torq..

em i noticed my engine lambat mati after i turn off my car key, izzit normal? about 3 seconds... my frens gen2 worse, about 2-3 minutes...

btw, last night i found out 1 thing..
driving persona is at its best if youre driving fast.. i was pushing the limits of this car by driving like a mad man around town. speeding where im not suppose to. taking corners in flyover while stepping pedal, using less brake as possible like an f1 driver. it amazed me as what this car could do. considering its rather high looking car height, standard tyres and suspension, boy it really stiff!
the harder you push, the harder it stays. it gives you that kind of rush and make you say.. "gosh! i cant believe i did that!"
but like i said many times before, for slow driving, the suspension is kinda stiff for my taste. the ride do remind me time and time of how much better french ride is. i just wish it to be kinder to my kidney. now i probably know how jeremy clarkson feel when testing a perfectly good family car after driving numerous sports/luxury car. my renault is not luxury but you get what i mean.
for those comparing with myvi (or anything similar price bracket), it depends on what you looking for. other car is easier to drive, close to your senses, lighter steering, easy parking, more practical cabin space, probably appeal more general public.
but the thing is, lotus is a sports car manufacturer. proton have lotus expertise not toyotas.

i dont know how the car look from outside when hard cornering, as you know, the rear is tall..
but how i measure it?, my ass seems to be in place at driver seat. i know my limit when my ass is not. thats when you've the feeling youre not in control of the car.
somebody here mention to me about the 'point and ...' feature of the steering wheel.. i think i know what it means now. point where you want it to turn, and hold it steady. i know it sounds rather obvious but if you drive 2 different car, you'll notice to appreciate it.
For furious(not necessary fast) driving, the rear drum brakes is ok but disc  should be better.
every beginning of driving, when doing hard braking, theres a slight 'sipping' sound on the brakes. when do it second time, the sound is gone. acceptable to me. do what i did, while driving fast, upon reaching a que at traffic light, then brake hard. make sure no car behind la. just wanted to push the envelop of this car. to know the limit. well, the brakes are fine i guess. but the auntie inside car infront looks furious.
