I had my phone screen replaced, with my own money, a year ago due to crack. Out of sudden the screen having green tint (common issue). Should I pay to replace a new screen or ask for Free screen replacement.

This is rock solid phone!

Please inform if you manage to get the screen replacement FOC.
AFAIK, the free screen replacement program already ended last June.

Greetings fellow Samsung Galaxy Note9 users. I just purchased this brand-new in box, so I'm really, really late to this party. However, I seem to have purchased an imported set, and my seller on Shopee can't seem to tell me how I can update the phone to the latest update from Samsung. It's probably in the 6 previous threads that this matter has been addressed before, but my search-fu is not very strong.

Would appreciate any help in this matter. How do I go about loading a new firmware in the phone when OTA doesn't seem to work?

Welcome 2 the party

Snapdragon better than exynos surely

So your phone will easily last 1 day heavy usage laugh.gif rclxms.gif

I rather enjoy the snappy SoT than worry about losing the latest update hahahaha

Hi, guys, I stumbled upon this thread when I dropped and cracked my Note 9 screen. Was researching on where to repair at the lowest cost, anyone has recommendations? Also, how much does it cost normally?

Curiously next, I see many of you guys mentioned S22U and planning to change to that...why ah? Is it the next natural progression or so happened to be a new product? Sorry, I don't follow tech and certainly do not know much about phones, except that I'm so happy with my Note 9, and been using it since forever.

Thanks for your feedbacks!

you can try researching in sammobile.com.

i suppose can use Odin to load the firmware that is suitable for your phone's original region (for Msia set running Exshitnos, it's XME). yours might be different because imported set.

good luck

Try samsung service centre?
Natural progression, yes i would say.. i still love my Note 9, and i will certainly miss the led notification, headphone jack and sd card slot for sure.

Oh what, no led blinking, the previous jack and SD slot? How can that be good :/
What are you trading them off for in S22U that makes it worth it?

Yes, it's an Exynos, what can I say? The set originally came from Vietnam (XXV), however, the firmware is a multi-CSC (OXM) variant.

I guess what I want to know is whether or not I can flash a different CSC (exactly the XME version) rather than the XXV one, and aiyoh, I also dunno how to find the OXM firmware. I already downloaded the XXV and XME firmware for Nov 2021, now am just waiting to see if the sifu-sifu can confirm whether I won't brick my phone if I flash either one.

If you really confirm Vietnam firmware supports multi-CSC, then you can download XME(Malaysia) firmware and just flash it in download mode using Odin. Just remember to put the HOME_CSC file into the CSC slot instead of CSC file if you want to keep your data and settings, else it will format your phone.

Yea, I'm upgrading from N9 to S22U as well, will miss those features but then for headphone jack, I'm using wireless earbuds now. So, I will miss the expandable slot more.

Something about wireless earbuds that makes me feel less secure than conventional jack...cuz they still need to be charged, a jack gives me the confidence it'll work when battery is out, lol

Btw, I don't see Celcom having this bundle for their contract. I take it that there's no promo launch under this Telco and we have to just buy retail?

Need to double check with telco if there is still free gifts, saw a lot complaining because after they ordered, only the Lamy pen or what is available.
