Might be the kernel couldn't control the heat management during update, and our model has a defect where the display ribbon is too close to processor and what hence it overheats during update and probably causes green screen

all those happen only during update?

During update it sure will get warm... that's seems normal to me. But sometimes what i faced is under normal usage also will get hot... reach 40 or 41 degree Celsius when i checked AccuBattery.

It will only occurr once in a while🤔

Can't remember the 1st incident..
But for the 2nd one, the green screen happen when I'm browsing Facebook..
All of the sudden the display turned green..
Cooling the phone down will cause the screen to be normal... but it'll turn back to green after a while...

But all 3 incidents happen not long after i do phone updates...

Yeah. AFAIK, the only solution is to get the screen replace..
Some apps *might* helps a bit with the colour... but it's just temporary...

wah charge twice per day already =.= ah .... mine charge 4 times a day lol

Mind sharing more info of the unit? Which plan u went for? Pay monthly or pay off the phone? Wonder how much for the most expensive plan but pay the phone in full

touch wood mine still ok after screen replacement.

during that time, they also replaced battery (since i think need to remove battery when replacing screen.

so, the note 9 battery still ok.

but lately, getting this message on Chrome each time unlock the phone:


really stupid as dun really say what is the issue and no way to tell...

S22U without case is like our Note9 with case on but heavier. The entire screen area on the S22U is like the size of the Note9 including the bezels.

Quite big actually. I can hardly fit in my pocket, my S22U.
Note9 u still can type/hold with one hand.

I ordered from Digi on the 4th of March. Just collected my phone from Digi SS2 branch.
I took the RM120 plan, each month pay RM182 for 24 months. I chose the Green 512GB Ultra.



Size-wise, looks quite similar. Booking Sakurazz (another LYN-er) for UV tempered glass installation and phone case later.
Used my Note 9 with the TP he installed when I bought it (during launching) and it has been good for so long.

Thinking if I want to order a skin like how I had it with my Note 9.
