Hi, guys, I stumbled upon this thread when I dropped and cracked my Note 9 screen. Was researching on where to repair at the lowest cost, anyone has recommendations? Also, how much does it cost normally?
Curiously next, I see many of you guys mentioned S22U and planning to change to that...why ah? Is it the next natural progression or so happened to be a new product? Sorry, I don't follow tech and certainly do not know much about phones, except that I'm so happy with my Note 9, and been using it since forever.
Try samsung service centre? Natural progression, yes i would say.. i still love my Note 9, and i will certainly miss the led notification, headphone jack and sd card slot for sure.
Oh what, no led blinking, the previous jack and SD slot? How can that be good :/ What are you trading them off for in S22U that makes it worth it?
New chip, new screen, 120 hz refresh rate, better camera i guess? Not to mention future android updates.. oh plus its snapdragon this time, unlike our current exynos one..
Gonna be tough to do without headphone jack

Yea, I'm upgrading from N9 to S22U as well, will miss those features but then for headphone jack, I'm using wireless earbuds now. So, I will miss the expandable slot more.
Something about wireless earbuds that makes me feel less secure than conventional jack...cuz they still need to be charged, a jack gives me the confidence it'll work when battery is out, lol
Btw, I don't see Celcom having this bundle for their contract. I take it that there's no promo launch under this Telco and we have to just buy retail?
I was deciding between S22+ and S22U. The reason why I went for the latter is that it has WQHD+ LTPO display, 12GB RAM and SPen.
Other than that, these 2 models differ by its appearance(round corner flat screen vs square corner curve screen), display size, battery size, extra 10x optical zoom lens, 108MP vs 50MP main sensor, 40MP vs 10MP front camera and their weight of course.
So, if you don't use SPen that much or don't need it, just go for S22+. Unless you want top top specs for everything lah.

Are you ok with 128gb + 8gb ram in 2022?
If no, then pay more 256gb + 12gb ram.
Thank you for your kind feedbacks, for my reference. Actually, I'm still happy with my Note 9, but cracked the corner screen, so this release made me think, lol... Ultra is so expensive though
note 9 with case already hurt my pinky; support the phone when typing.
Lol, thought it's only me and pinky issue. My pinky has been feeling it for a long time, and based on the reviews with S22U, it's gonna be even heavier for me.
Hope to have more reviews and comparison with time to come for both Note 9 and S22U.
