Ya, duno can finish anot, i heard is 1st of August they only will switch to Pfizer and i got my appointment on 24/7/21 ;(

So if everyone do the same then Sinovac stock won't finish and will move forward too even after 1 Aug 2021, there will be plenty stock available.

A lot of pp rather wait, this made 1st Aug plan .at risk . Majority won't take sinovac..if they have choice.

Heard got ppl got pfizer today at MIECC Mines.

Worst things that could happen:
Your appointment will be rescheduled back to next few weeks/months. Then assigned again to Sinovac.

Or you might get lucky having Pfizer prepared for you next August. We never know. It's your call of course.

This is not possible given the plan is inoculate all with at least 1 dose by next month. Die die will get vaccine in next few weeks, but what vaccine still is a question, won't drag more than a month.

I already said in my post that you left out,that person might get lucky having Pfizer next August,we never know. It's his/her decision to proceed or cancel the appointment.

This is not possible, they target to vaccinate all adults at least 1dose in selangor kl by next few week.

Chances to get Pfizer after 1st Aug is very high, if gov stop procure Sinovac as plan, sinovac stock will run out soon.

I'm no encourage to wait but it is worth to wait for the Pfizer....getting Pfizer in Aug is still far better than getting sinovac now, cause Sinovac need 1.5 months to develop meaning protection.

Your appointment will not reschedule back to next few month, not possible.

Yes Sinovac will run out of stock soon but how soon we don't know.

With the news of Pfizer been rolled out next August what will government do with the rest of Sinovac supplies if many cancelled their appointments this month? Reassigning is not impossible since they want to use them all up.

There are other issues to consider too...

- the vaccines are 2 shots. 2nd jab is 3 weeks after the 1st jab.
- it takes some days to built up immunity.
- so, all in, about 1 month after the 1st jab to get full immunity.

In the meantime, in Selangor:
- 4k new cases every day. (Long queues at the CAC...)
- yesterday's death toll: Hospital, 62. BID (brought in dead), 20.
- 2 containers added at Klang hospital as temporary mortuary.

- Two cremators will be added in Selangor soon for speedier cremation of the remains of non-Muslim COVID-19 victims.

as long as there's people cancelling their appointment, there will always be Sinovac supply


the real 'lucky' ones are those who havent registered for vaccination, they can register as soon Sinovac supply is confirmed to have ran out and Pfizer is left. But how long would that be? August? Sept? In the mean time what if you caught covid? Or if there's requirement to be fully vaccinated to go out?
