Im actually in a dilemma now.

Not sure to get a 7600GT or 8600GT. Read few review and also international forums.

Some say 7600GT is better ,some say the opposite.

Which one should i get friends? I dun really need those DX10 thingy. Besides a 8600GT wont be sufficient to fully enjoy DX10 games etc.

If thats the case then go for high end 7 series. U can get 2nd hand 7900GS or even 7950GT for the price of new 8600GT at garage sales. Far better than the 8600GT. thumbup.gif

Cost less? In the future, its possible but dont think so as off current. A great example, the X2600XT Dual GPU card. The last time i check, its around RM1k +. And with that price, you can possible get 2 piece of X2600XT as well or just go ahead and get the higher 8series or HD2900series which performs wayy better... smile.gif

Is it true that the GALAXY 8600GT have 48 pipe line, while other 8600GT have only 32 pipe line? Does it make any difference?

What's your budget? 8400 is low-end, not even mid-range. Get a 8800GT!!! drool.gif

LOL..And the 8800GT is not categorized as mid range as well. Thats a high end one. For a mid range, 8500GT DDR3 should be the lowest you want to consider. smile.gif
