In terms of compensation and benefit, your skills set is what they pay you for. The more you know and can do, the more moolah they pay you.
So rotate roles every 3-5 years.

choose the job with best prospect for self growth. 35km is not bad to be honest. i used to commute 45km to my workplace.

For bayan lepas/mainland MNC, if got choice best not to touch taiwan MNC. For local company really depends. If you are talking about company like vitr0x, yeah can try. If talking about  company like A3mulus, look elsewhere.

For taiwan MNC, wife use to work at one with a sun & moon logo. They quite cheapskate until watercooler being removed due to cost cutting. Pay was not really competitive either, only provide 12 month base pay and extra 2 months was treated as 'bonus'. Most companies provide 13 month contractual with some better ones giving 13.5 / 14month annual. You might want to look at what their annual pay is
