Mine totally stable,looks like different unifi IPs issue.

Try to ping 8.8.8.8 and 1.9.1.9 to see any packet lost or routing issue occurs. If this 2 also not stable,then your connection is having issue.

I just check the target ip for that monitoring,seems like OVH accidently change the A record for the hostname- sgp.smokeping.ovh.net (213.32.5.52) which actually located to OVH Roubaix DC.


I have another monitoring to OVH SG in Singapore category: https://smokeping.mywebping.com/smokeping/?...-Networks.SG-17
This one is correct due to monitoring target with IP : 139.99.72.90 . (IP Resolve name is sgp.smokeping.ovh.net )

make a traceroute and send the record to tm and ask them to fix it.

Any cheap Malaysia vps that allow vpn usage recommended? (below rm15 per month or rm150 per year)

Oracle cloud does not have region-malaysia,i already have SG region. (But the server is use for idle only)
And also Oracle cloud free tier might ban account randomly with small possibility.

I already have multiple vps in singapore,but i looking for very cheap MY vps to idle for vpn or future usage.


And last night OVH SG also got spike....
Private peering also like this...Unifi connectivity really crappppp.....

Setup your own vpn server,and u will have a better internet experience.

Do you mind to share your dns servers list that currently using?

Thanks for giving the dns server information.
I am currently using SmartDNS(Github) + Pihole together to auto get the better server from a list of dns server and lower level adblock at the same time.

Multiple DNS server <> SmartDNS <> Pihole <>Lan Client


VPN is much more easily to fix most unifi routing issue,thats why i recommend people to setup their own vpn server while using unifi.
And of course,using commercial consumer grade vpn is also a way to mitigate the issue,but there is still got some problem might be facing like
Example: Connect to Nordvpn SG
1.Currently there are 71 servers in Nordvpn SG,but u cant know which is under good routing at the time (different time or day got different routing and performance),
So people might having high latency issue with low speed connection to some Nordvpn SG server.
2.The vpn server is share with alot of user at the same time,and the speed is not guarantee,it might fast or slow anytime.
3.If people is using vpn with doing confidential thing, although the data transfer is encrypted but it will still recordable and viewable by the vpn provider.


Sometime if unifi team is doing maintenance on your area or state and the unifi service still usable, then your internet speed might suddenly drop to about 1/10,
and from what i experience 2-3 or 3-4years ago,while unifi network maintenance, ipv4 is slow but the ipv6 is usable at that time like 50-60% of your subscription speed.
(But i think the speed cant full at that time is because the router didn't have enough power to run ipv6,i was using lower-mid grade router- Mikrotik-RB750Gr3 few years ago)

Try ping and traceroute this cloudflare ipv6 dns : 2606:4700:4700::1111

Tracert work very slow one...I always use pingplotter for traceroute usage.

Today unifi really having bad connection, looks like the flood affect alot.
My smokeping record show that almost half of the network from my home unifi is having abnormal connection.
And also the unifi easyfix site (easyfix.unifi.com.my) is not accessible now?

If the problem persisted until 3/3 then just enable vpn and easily to get deal...
But i think tomorrow unifi team will fix it.

I dont care how connection shit to lazada or any server ,as long as my vpn connection is low latency and stable,then no problem for me.

No seeing problem on my end. Try download with download software. Google chrome is not design use for downloading.

My humble opinion:
Do not use google chrome to download any file that bigger than 100mb.(when u need to download a Big file please use a Download software to download)

Ya,but for the better solution,just use a download software to overcome the issue better.
The problem for using chrome to download file is mostly cause by non stable connection to the file server, so normally chrome download from server that hosted in Asia then it is okay.
But download software might still be faster than chrome and more stable,as the software have download resume, so those large size file that download by chrome if slow speed,in the end might be 50% chance download fail.

Just tried,sjc10 bandwidth congestion. i only hit 27MB/s

Looks like yours current CGNAT having issue.

Get active fan cooling,as Pi4 is really hot.
Or Passive cooling with additional fan. (I am using passive cooling case with usb fan)

But i dont recommend to buy Pi 4 anymore,as nowadays Intel Small form factor AIO mini PC is much more powerful and power efficient.
Just spend abit more,and you will get a much more powerful machine. (minimum almost 4-5X performance and power usage only more 1-2w)

I also going to get a Intel i3 N305 mini PC from China brand. (N305 abit more expensive,just get N100 enough for 99% idle usage)
