The reptile owner's name is Brian, thank you for entertaining us oso! Me oso thinking to get a CHIN from ChinchillasÂ

But now gotta learn how to take good care of ChinChin first. Or better still, ask Chinchillas to set up a session at FLUFF to sell chinchillas!Â
Oh ya, how should I address you? Regarding the feeding, should we place the food all the time for our ChinChin?
Hahaha... wah... you bagi lot of muka for me la, i mana boleh open a session to talk and sell chinchilla....i am just a small, tiny, chinchillas owner la...
You address me as Chinchillas!
About the feeding, is very very simple. Each day feed him the same time, mean let said you will always feed him in the morning, then feed him only that time, they love it!(make them happy, happy chin healthy chin!) And DON'T limit pellet and timothy hay, if you see he finish the pellet , so fill it up until he always hv a little bit leave on the next feeding you give him. Timothy hay just give as much as he want.
Lastly, try not to hold him in the day time(of cos if that chin for sell AND DISPLAY, i think is very hard to do that for him), cos your put at shop, a lot of ppl talking, walking around, dog barking and you using cage(not sound prove like the chin behind a glass.) even your shadow pass by will also alert them. So it will definately stress him, cause chinchilla's nature is they have super hearing, that's why they have a big ear, and they are rodent, they can smell 100 feet away to detect the presence of food, how much more dog smell? Best thing is, if the grooming room is just for selling small animal

, that is great

, got privacy and can close door , of cause Air con is a must.

Just my 2 cents...

Hi..

Â

Â
ya i'm new as forumer but not as follower coz i always follow lowyat forum through my fren...
I saw chinchilla before.. but those chin looks small almost same size with syrian hamster... but when i google they big..
Hi Wade,
Ya those sell in the pet shop is small due to the age is too young to take out to sell. a hamster size chin is TOOOOOOO young. But if you know roughly what you want, spot a nice one(bigger a bit) and with your budget allow at any pet shop, grap it and run!!! of cause pls pay them first.... and of cause check it carefully before you buy, expecially the surrounding of that shop, is it what you think is right. Just see more photos before you go, google, you should find something that is NICE PET.
