Wah... american pet diner..... a super brand for hay, especially their gold hay.

American pet diner have a very good reputation on their consistant hay quality, their hay is always maintain in a quality of freshness even when reach the end user. About the Gold hay, is actually the trade mark of american pet diner, this gold hay actually is timothy hay, it is a 2nd cut hay which is 99.9% is leaf, smell excellece, no stem at all. I personally use it before, no animal can resist this, sapu besih besih. What I have learned and known is American pet diner company have their own land of growing they own hay, so they control the quality very well, and the soil that they growing will also affect the outcome of the hay, good soil grow good hay. You can check their area where they grow their hay, those place is best place to grow hay in america, that is why the hay is also in quality.Due to the soil they grow, when it harvert, a lot of mirco nutrition that cannot found in pellet will be provide by this hay, that why is good to use fresh green hay, not hay that is yellow, turning yellow or dead green. If the hay have dark brown, that is natural sun dried as well, not bcos by keeping to long and then turn yellow, is completely difference thing. Dark brown leaf hay that is due to sun dried have very high vitamin D, compare with pale yellow hay that is over time, is complete useless, nutrition 0%.
American pet diner have not only good in their gold hay, they good in their mountain grass and high fiber hay. Mountain grass is another good source for variety, the nutrition breakdown is the same like alfalfa hay they have. By mixing this few type of hay, you will ensure your pet is in good health, especially on their teeth.
In most of the western country, they small pet user like to use this gold hay mix with they grain hay and high fiber high to provide a complete hay diet, even in Singapore, Hong kong and Taiwan, American pet diner gold hay is always kena sapu besih besih! In other hand, oxbow dont have a consistant quality hay compare with American pet diner, i dont know why, they just will hv flucture on their quality.

If your can get it american pet diner, go for it, you will notice your pet eat more hay and will enjoy seeing them eat. In fact they will eat very fast, cos too delicious, just like my chins eat the Nevada hay, eat like a pig.

Ya, that's right, not the typical wheel we using here, need BIG huge wheel. If you not have your chin in very low temperature enviroment, wheel is a no no.

That means only those who keeps their Chins in a AC room shud use this rather than those who keeps them in normal places.. Coz they can get heat stroke if doesnt cool down soon enuf.. hehe

hehe, i know the price.. no problem i tend to spend more on my pets than on myself but first of all... need to get chin first hahahaha

yup yup APD is a good brand. been trying to get my hands on it.. hope someone will bring it into msia soon! There are a few other good hay companies in US.. very good, fresh, high quality hay.. i wonder we don't have hay source in msia?

Wanna know, what toys can we provide for chins? is PVC pipe made as a tunnel ok?

Personally, for me, I won't use pvc pipe, but I know lots of friend in State they using it. Chins can hv lots of chew toy, you can get some chew block, like apple stick, chew block make from safe wood, quality pumice stone or Superpet carry a wide range of chew toy, you can browse on HERE. Plus a big cage hv some platform for them to jump around all night, they will be very happy.
