Actually no... seems like is just 10 movies with 1 year validity  sweat.gif

TV are usually 16:9, but movies are usually scope. With some movies have remastered to 16:9 "IMAX" screen... like on Disney vs the blu-ray. But then again... lol my TV is in the bedroom... and if I were to watch proper movie I would be at the other room  hmm.gif

Oh no, I mean if I watch in the other room is a projector set-up... using bulb. so for dramas just watch on the OLED rather on the projector.

I just realized... A80J panel is without reinforcement... it looks rather thin... while A80K has some backing to the panel.. and sadly my A80J about 14 months old, seems like one of the corner is warping ._.

Sony and Philips will be the first TV makers to use MediaTek Pentonic chips

https://www.flatpanelshd.com/news.php?subac...l&id=1673253676

QUOTE
Sony did not provide details other than saying that it will use one, or more, of the new Pentonic chips. Sony has confirmed to FlatpanelsHD that it will announce its 2023 TV line-up "later this spring".

- "Designing televisions that faithfully convey the creator's intent is our passion. In addition to Sony’s integrated image processing algorithms, our strategic collaboration with Portrait Displays and MediaTek allows us to take the Smart TV visual experience to the next level. With accurate color calibration, customers can enjoy movies and TV shows precisely how they were meant to be viewed," said Yoshihiro Ono, Head of Home Entertainment Business Group of Sony Corporation.

Philips and Sony are already using MediaTek chips in their existing Android TVs and Google TVs. Unlike Philips, Sony also offers 8K TVs which the Pentonic 2000 is intended for. You can see which chip is used in a given TV model in the TV Database.
Spring = March - June

I’m using Cento for my 65” A80J, so far ok. More stable than I expected, and it’s quite solid it’s able to still maintain the level pretty well when extended.

Usually the best time during 11.11 or 12.12 online platform sale. Other than that I think promo price is so so.

Did they replace a new unit , or give you some sort of voucher at the same amount that your purchased?

What went wrong with the tv? Is it the panel?

Panel spoil and need replacement at rm4k. The TV cost RM6.8k (4 years ago) but the current similar model x85k only RM4.3k. So the extra warranty covers the RM4k required to repair but is also given an option to encash it to purchase another new TV. I choose encash it to purchase new by just adding rm300. Cos the extra 300 can consider as 2 years warranty else repair one no warranty left
