Wahh can enjoy 2 years of unlimited movie. ๐ ๐
Thought most tv can use 16:9?
Actually no... seems like is just 10 movies with 1 year validity
TV are usually 16:9, but movies are usually scope. With some movies have remastered to 16:9 "IMAX" screen... like on Disney vs the blu-ray. But then again... lol my TV is in the bedroom... and if I were to watch proper movie I would be at the other room
I just realized... A80J panel is without reinforcement... it looks rather thin... while A80K has some backing to the panel.. and sadly my A80J about 14 months old, seems like one of the corner is warping ._.
Hi everyone, i just bought my first SonyTVx85K. . I need advise regarding TV wall mount bracket for SonyTV 65inch. Is this kind of bracket suitable?
Iโm using Cento for my 65โ A80J, so far ok. More stable than I expected, and itโs quite solid itโs able to still maintain the level pretty well when extended.
Ah yes, I plan to get one of these dongle too. Upon researching around, only specific realtek chipset would be working with these Sony TV... I have an Ugreen dongle which I plan to try . Seems as long it supports "Chrome OS", it would work.
And I just realized there's an app like speedtest for testing speed... sweet.

Currently waiting for good deal for Bravia L or K to replace my x85
I just recalled about this after you quoted me . Based on my survey, looks like TP-Link UE300 works with the 2021 models, J series. I just ordered one UE300 for testing, will update once it arrived .
Only online they are selling at 3799. At their shop still 4200. The shop does not have this 3799 promo. Iโm considering 65x90k or 75x85k. If Iโm not a gamer/PlayStation, should I just get the x80k instead? As Iโm claiming replacement, I can only do it at the shop
Contact the sales person directly, usually can get better price than their online listing ๐
Sony users looking for gigabit connection, TP-Link UE300 confirmed working. Iโve used for a few days now, connection connects faster than the time I take to start Plex now ๐คฃ
Previously takes a bit of time to connect for Wi-Fi. Now Iโm gonna order another for my A80K ๐คฉ that one not sure why the Wi-Fi a bit lousy, despite its just 1 wall away tsk.
mind share the link where you ordered? also this just plug and play? or need to any config?
I bought from Lazada, just search from TP-Link UE300 (mine from seller called OOKAS). Btw he also no stock now, my 2nd unit have to wait until he restock and only deliver to me.
What the diff with ue306 ya, plenty this model? Its cheaper and in black?
When I looking around internet, I found out the TP-Link UE300 (RTL8153 chipset) worked. So I stayed with it. I would have preferred the black design too if I knew earlier, not sure what chipset does UE306 uses and may not be compatible.
One thing though, I see this UE306 is compatible with Nintendo Switch. I have another UGREEN dongle which is too compatible with Nintendo Switch, that wasn't compatible with both A80J and A80K. Side note, apparently need to find a dongle that works with "Chrome OS" then it would work with the Google TV running on Sony. But the UE300 didn't advertise with Chrome OS though.

surprisingly all 2023 model prices are lower compared with their 2022 counterparts (A80L vs A80K, X90L vs X90K). Assuming their prices for the 2022 models remained unchanged since release
hope to see the same here
Yay! Looks like TV prices are back on the getting cheaper year over year trend. Past few years the TV gets more and more expensive tsk.
