The nurse at the vaccination centre told me this...

If you are the unhealthy type with stress or a bad diet, don't take Pfizer.

The reason why gomen opt to give Pfizer to the elderly because the majority do exercise, eat right and live in a stress-free environment.

Last few weeks, a few frontliners died after vaccination. Could be due to work-related stress or a bad diet. Possible?

True or not, dunno because no way to verify.

U can choose if it is available at the vaccination centers.

Last week, I saw 3 types available (with separate counters) namely Pfizer, AZ, and Sinovac. However, on that day itself, only Pfizer available, and AZ was pulled out at the very last minute and made available to those who wanted it.

Depends on where u live. If mostly out of the city, Sinovac. If inside the city like KL, Damansara, and so-on, very likely Pfizer. Pfizer needs the expensive chiller to keep it cool below -70C.

My parents got their Pfizer shots last week in Banting of all places. Somehow, gomen managed to bring the chiller along or have a portable one.

Edit: maybe too harsh from me, but is the "unhealthy type with stress or a bad diet dont take Pfizer" common knowledge? havent heard of this before

It's all about blood pressure. If stress, or no exercise then become high bp, lots of fat blocking the vein or artery

If blockage in the brain then got stroke

Because all the vaccines still in trial or test stages.

Time to exercise, eat right and learn to control the stress.

Yup, all Covid19 vaccines are in trial stages.
Everyone who is volunteering themselves now are basically guinea pigs and statistics for the pharma companies.
At least they're mass providing data so the best and most suitable vaccine will be used for the human race, maybe roughly in 8 to 9 years time (The time to develop a vaccine usually takes 10 years).

There is 2 problems with this covid19 vaccine. First none of the vaccine goes to proper trial, usually vaccine takes almost 10 years to release to masses. But this covid19 only take around 1 year.

Second scientist just found out coronavirus actually affect cardiovascular, that is why it usually cause high bp. So when u take covid vaccine u will get the same high bp effect and if u unlucky person u will get stroke.

87% of the 15-year survivors were living at home and 33.8% (26.2% to 42.4%) had mild disability, 14.3% (9.2% to 21.4%) moderate disability and 15.0% (9.9% to 22.3%) severe disability.

https://jnnp.bmj.com/content/87/10/1091

calculate those numbers and you will get 36.9% with no disability.

They may be inactivated virus but they still have spike proteins on them mind you, just that it may not be as bad as having your body/cells make free flowing spike proteins, so she got away with minor stroke considered lucky.

You did your research well sir.

Yes, my father is also a stroke survivor, mild stroke back in 2013. Recovered around 2015 but yes, his left hand is still weak and can’t properly walk well even after physio till today.

He got mild stroke due to he is a heavy smoker. doh.gif

my fact is right, bell palsy only affect face. Acute stroke affect half of your body (face, hand, legs even your throat). The outcome for both
are different, bell palsy usually are temporary. Acute stroke are permanent because part or your brain already damage because of blood cloth, recovery depend on how your brain create new link to control your body back usually with the help of long hours of physiotherapy.

U the one who can't differentiate between bell palsy and acute stroke in the first place. even your source before show picture for bells palsy. Top kek, clearly u dint know anything but want to act pandai. Just google and paste picture. top kek bodo

No my mother kena acute stroke and recovered mostly can continue work

My auntie also kena first stroke also recovered, continue work. 2nd stoke baru permanent. Grandma kena straight permanent

Where is my apologies? I used face drop symptoms picture, both stroke and bell palsy have those symptoms. So technically ayam correct because ayam only show face drop. You family got stroke but you don't know FAST or BEFAST, so irresponsible.

Possible?

True or not, dunno because no way to verify.

chill brah.
actually brain cell die on daily basis even if you dont have any medical problem, but some will generated back but at slow rate, slower than the dying brain cell rate. so thats the reason why the expert saying you cant heal damaged brain.

for a young people that have minor stroke, they may have higher outcome to be nearly full recovery. i know one of the stroke survivor that do house repair/renovation work, despite kena stroke during the middle age and being old age now, he can still effectively use his arm and legs without much fatique, far better than most healthier person.

Somehow, gomen managed to bring the chiller along or have a portable one.

we dont use the vials la if expire. dont incite unnecessary things. but good thing is until now very less vials we forced to throw (maybe 1, maybe 0) cuz people keep on asking if they can hop in to take pfizer. like of a makcik 85 yrs old brings in a his son to aid for registration/etc, we will ask if the son wants to skip the queue and take the jab at the samw day and they have all agreed very happily

what if 80% of HK injected with Sinovac, 20% is Pfizer.

then the number became this:
Sinovac: 0.0026%
Pfizer: 0.0025%

I'm just asking people taking to READ before signing the DISCLAIMER form. Knowing Malaysians, most probably don't even know what they're signing.

Kebaikan > keburukan. Tapi kalau ada keburukan, tanggung sendiri, ya.

***
If vaccine so good, then please DISCARD the need for disclaimer form. Why pandan?
*
yeah, everyone should just do that.. i mean how hard can it be to read and understand medical disclaimer right?? not like u need to study 6 years to be knowledgeable(and know what is "kebaikan" and what is "keburukan" and of course their impact in practice) in medical stuff.. my 10 years old brother who know English and BM can probably do it..

inb4,

DISCLAIMER: Please seek doctor advise before administer.

patient: *read the disclaimer*

patient: doctor.. so how? safe?

doctor: safe.

patient: ok, go ahead..

Recently our office was hit by covid 19. Of 22 staff 11 tested positive, index case was a part timer. The ones positive have frequent f2f meeting which include myself.

However I am lucky (or safe as already vaccinated) and all my swab test negative.

Sadly many of the positives also infected their households/ families thus total positives from these stands at 75. Some have to be hospitalized , require breathing support but none to icu. One death as well (father of staff who already bedridden prior due to stroke)

Meaning, 0 dead out of 75.
Excluding the one death, would have died anyways.

They may be inactivated virus but they still have spike proteins on them mind you, just that it may not be as bad as having your body/cells make free flowing spike proteins, so she got away with minor stroke considered lucky.
*
It seems that only the full spike protein can cause vascular problems, so inactivated, mRNA and viral vector vaccines may have the same issue.

Some protein subunit vaccines only use the RBD (Receptor Binding Domain) part of the spike protein, so in theory they are safer.

i myself also not confident with my health able to take up the vaccine also because of my genetic diabetes, heart and stroke syndrome. when my turn to vaccine i will prepare for the worst.

In their mid 70s. Both BP and cholesterol borderline.

After jab, my mom got a sudden headache but after resting for 2 hours, all ok. My dad so far no side effects. Still can jogging, cycling and running around.

Vaccine just helps highlight these conditions so that proper measures can be taken.

So after several deaths and this stroke. None got to claim frm the money government set aside right. That amount they set aside only max 20 ppl or so. I expect you need to die on spot to get it. Even so they might not give it.

Unless someone infected cough into ur face or u always touch ur face with ur dirty hands, its not that easy to get it.

Ppl keep thinking the virus is flying around the air and u just need to walk around to get it. No, thats not how it spreads.

Mind u, the main route of spread is via respiratory drolwts which u breath in. Usually thru close contact with a positive patient. Or u r in a confined space which the air has been contaminated by viral particles floating in the air.

The viral particles does not float in the air forever. The infected guy has to be right up coughing in ur face for u to get it . And being in close contact does not 100% guarantee u will get it .

Not he cough at 10am, then u walk past at 1030am and breathe in the air. No u wont get it.

Yes aerosols dont stay in the air for long. Probably few minutes max. U dont spread fear and nonsense lah.

Within few minutes ur aerosols are already vaporized by the heat from the sun lah.

And its clearly written in the article, most transmission is "short distance". I guess u didnt even read the article. Just read the title? Topkek

Go take a water spray bottle, spray water in the air. See how many seconds or minutes it takes for the water to vaporize.

Thats why Msians need to educate themselves further on how covid is transmitted and not make a fool out of themselves

Every time you take a plane ride thanks to a cheap ticket from Air Asia, there is a statistical chance you might fall out of the sky. And if you do, the chance of fatality is 99.99+% ( there were only like 2-3 cases of people falling out of the sky and surviving). Still it doesn't stop you doesn't it?

Even though engineers design planes to be as safe as possible, there is still a chance of one falling out of the sky. Vaccines are like that too. Vaccine approval protocols get stricter and stricter all the time and generally they *are* safe for everyone. When health authorities talk about all these side effects they are simply being very cautious. The problem is that laypeople don't understand all these things because they lack context. The real issue is not about vaccine safety, but about people's emotional fear of the unknown. You're still more likely to die from a car crash than a plane crash or vaccination shot.

- yes of course it wont float forever.

"The infected guy has to be right up coughing in ur face for u to get it ."
- this is not 100% true , they dont need to cough, they just need to talk in front of u and u hv high chances of catching it if he is symptomatic.

"And being in close contact does not 100% guarantee u will get it . "

The viral particles does not float in the air forever. The infected guy has to be right up coughing in ur face for u to get it . And being in close contact does not 100% guarantee u will get it .

Not he cough at 10am, then u walk past at 1030am and breathe in the air. No u wont get it.

U guys should not be overparanoid.  Its been already more than a year since covid started. If its so easy to get, u guys would have gotten it long long time ago .

In b4 they form the majority in msia, of course they have the most cases.

It is not uncommon nowadays.

There are more and more youngsters who have high blood pressure, hypertension and stress related problems due to our more and more stressful environment.

How long aerosols

As researchers learn more about SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19, there is less concern about what scientists call fomite transmission.

“The surface issue has essentially gone away,” said Monica Gandhi, an infectious disease doctor and researcher with UCSF. “The virus is spread primarily by massive shedding from the nose and mouth.”

In other words, there may be a slight risk of infection from touching a surface or object that has a large dose of viral particles on it and then touching your nose, mouth, or eyes. But the main routes of transmission are inhaling respiratory droplets and aerosols, which can remain in the air for hours.

Dude, I lost 30kg in a 3/4 months. I had 2 National level comps, 1 International comp, several regional ones. Not to mention tuition every day till night and helping mum making tempeh before sending it to Pasar Pagi before 6 am.

Meeting a shrink wasn't fun. At all.
