actually brain cell die on daily basis even if you dont have any medical problem, but some will generated back but at slow rate, slower than the dying brain cell rate. so thats the reason why the expert saying you cant heal damaged brain.
for a young people that have minor stroke, they may have higher outcome to be nearly full recovery. i know one of the stroke survivor that do house repair/renovation work, despite kena stroke during the middle age and being old age now, he can still effectively use his arm and legs without much fatique, far better than most healthier person.
