well, the clearing of NQ works. My alarm is back. Try GAlarm, is a good application, pretty nice and neat. At least, I need not compose .wav files for the alarm tone. It plays directly from my MP3 folders randomly.

Added on October 23, 2008, 8:41 amYIKES!!! I just found out something. There's something loose in my KS20. When I shake the unit, I can hear something is loose inside, more like a small piece of thing with 'crok crok crok'. Can you all try yrs? I hate to send it for repair.. :S

The loose sound is very soft and it won't happen frequently. And I can hear not only on a single position of moment. One second, it can change to another movement and bla bla bla.. but anyhow, it's not there anymore. DOn't intend to send for checking as the phone is working well.

everytime i tried to click 'lock', my screen will turn to white.

now i dare not click on the 'lock' button.

last 2 days, when i used the iFonz, and as i ran only 2 programs my screen also turned 'white' and hanged. i had to soft reset.

i found that there were many Queues in the programs. Question > can i delete them instead of deleting 'duplicates'? is this the cause of the white screen?

sigh ......

I do not have problems with my iFonz. It is running exceptionally well, in fact, one of the best applications I installed. No problems at all. On the other hand, do the following:

1) check yr start up and see what other programs runs during reboot.
2) check yr 'active job', see if there's anything alien running.

WHen you say "queues", do you mean Notification QUeue?

1. do you mean the programs in the "Start" by clicking at the top left of the screen? if, yes, there are many many programms that can come handy. they are for short cuts right? are they running also even if i dont call them upo?

2. 'active jobs' from where? i can only \go to memory and delete the running programs. somehow, i felt that the RAM is low on several times. but on a 'good' day, my iFonz is running so well and smooth. it msut be the RAM or the running programs ain the background. how now? please guide.

1) It's not START menu but "START UP" programs. Use your SKT to check.

2) You can check your active jobs using SKT.

3) For NQ, mark the duplicates and remove the marked. Use SKT for this. It's alrite to remove duplicates.

I think I know the cause of that. Firstly, did you Hard Reset your device? If not how did you reboot your device? Does the White Screen comes with a message saying the screen is running on low resources?

also, my KS20 some times hangs, maybe be due to the fact that i ve downloaded an unsuitable version of the iFonz. i hope you can help me to download the iFonz v1.1.2 menu system and the S2P v0.5.0 - music player and hope it is not much trouble for you. i do not wish to register for membership at the moment.

Here is the instructions for iFonz.

1) Rename iFonz to .zip
2) Unzip the all the content into a folder.
3) Uninstall your iFonz
4) Soft Reset
5) Copy the unziped folder content into your Program Files folder where your previous iFonz folder is.

Note: This version NEED NOT INSTALLATION. Just unzip and move the files to your Program Folders. If you need to know more, go to the XDA to read the details.


Here is the instructions for S2P.

1) Rename to .CAB
2) Install as per normal

Go to XDA for details.
