you can install 3rd party keyboard application...
*
Yeah PCMKeyboard is a pretty good application. Been using it ever since I used PDA phones. Anyway if KS20 does not meet your requirements, then you need something like Kaiser/TyTn II. But too bad, it has pretty sticky issues at the moment so you might as well wait for the next generation HTC phones. Personally speaking KS20 is a pretty good lifestyle phone with something 'business' in case you need it.

I don't know what is your requirement but it seems like PDA phones aren't your taste now. Don't expect it to be quick in response because it will never will. We're talking ARM platform here so it gonna be power efficiency of windows-like environment the first priority.

LG KS20 is a good PDA, but haha battery life sucks to the max. In fact all the model from LG their battery life is horrible.

MSN messenger seems to have problem signin in with the previous version. try look for the latest version... if you able to find the old version, the better.

2. hw you do define activesync cant sync well?
*
Thanks for the Advise. Wondering which is a good version to use ?

2. For Activesync , some time it's juse can't get connected. Need to reboot my PC , then only can sync. Still , if i am setting the connect as the M. storage and use for internet sharing , then i has no problems at all . Will try to re-intall the software to see if's better.

hey all,

just got mine yesterday. a big leap from my o2 mini in weight/size. can i join the club? smile.gif

plug in the charger and it heated up quite a bit a the back. then tried to go on utube, that didnt work and the phone got sooo slow. i turned off utube and it was still slow. had to reset it (pull out battery?) and now its fine. seems like theres a lot of software issues and the lg plugs dun really slot in nicely.

anyways. still quite happy despite the shaky start. lotsa prospect for the little thing though. small, specs are good and price is right.

Welcome to the new users.

Now my turn. I just found out few days ago that there's a UI problem. When I am in the MMS section of messaging, it is impossible to create a new MMS. Pressing MENU>New> Nothing happens... another menu seems to slide out but is partially hidden. And I can't select it. I had to go to the picture gallery and send it as a MMS attachment to summon the MMS editor. Then redo and reformat it.

mine is hotlink 017 and I live in kampung, by default when I switch off the phone and back on it will choose GSm by default, maybe I need a 3g sim card to solve this problem, will try celcom and c if it solve the problem...

yeap, the stylus (the pen) its quite hard to take out and plug back in cause its new, use it a couple of time and it will be smooth, don't worry about it...

as for the slowness, you need to always make sure you ram is free, try to make a habbit going to the memory settings and stop all the application to really free the memory, that way it will be a lot more responsive...

I think only the front screen. The front and back one should be more expensive. Anyway mine is completely cured. Should be taking pictures in a few days and post it here.
