ROM is for files storage. READ ONLY MEMORY. anything stored on rom (in your pda, not storage card) will gone when u flash

the term rom is also used, when u say u're flashing a ROM. its sorta like formating your PC to a different OS. except its all windowsmobile, maybe different version. different rom 'chefs' will also tweak their rom differently

RAM is used to run programs. RANDOM ACCESS MEMORY. when u close a program, u regain your RAM (theoretically, but can have bugs like memory leaks). themore RAM, the more stuff u can run SIMULTANEOUSLY. but at the sametime more stuff u run simultaneously,the more you tax your processor, can cause hangs, slowdowns, etc. so close what program u dun need, dun just minimise

i've been scratching my head over this. Hmm... now that Im on the correct path, what seems to be the problem? I cant seem to find the image files from kitchen ROM. no *mdb found

just curious, did anyone knows why the ram only 81.60 mb? cuz if i'm not mistaken the ks20 runs on 128 mb. after i start my ks20 i only gets around 20mb++. since i runs spb shell. i surf using skyfire a lot & it seems uses a lot of ram. any solutions dear sifus?

Those figures look about right. Use SKTools to move some of your non critical folders from Device Storage to Storage Card. That will free up your RAM space. If you continue to use up your RAM your device will hang easily.

Those folders/files that are not required by the operating system. Photo, video, music folders for example.

let e simlify it .... cf are those on system files .... just like all the junk files in my KS20 ... photos of american bully, videos of an underwater supermarket .... etc. move them over to the external mem card. the device shd be problem free in terms of speed.

is when i run ifonz, and i reset the phone, it go back to the ori window, y not to ifonz window ??
and i install some application, s2v,s2u2,s2p, but it dont show under ifonz window,

how, somebody help me

i dunno bout ifonz, but there are other commercial stuff like winterface

1) go to iFonz setting, and tick "run iFonz on Start up". hence after reboot, u'll get iFonz running.

2) new programs installed will not appear in iFonz. U need to add new icons and link them manually.

yes we followed Ed's pcm keyboard, and it looks realy like phone. if you further increase the touch sensitivity, then it is your KS20 'iphone'. easy to google for the pcm keyboard.
