QUOTE(Baronic @ Jul 20 2009, 12:29 AM) G3 G4 ask your fellow KS20-ians thanks bro. ROM is for files storage. READ ONLY MEMORY. anything stored on rom (in your pda, not storage card) will gone when u flash the term rom is also used, when u say u're flashing a ROM. its sorta like formating your PC to a different OS. except its all windowsmobile, maybe different version. different rom 'chefs' will also tweak their rom differently RAM is used to run programs. RANDOM ACCESS MEMORY. when u close a program, u regain your RAM (theoretically, but can have bugs like memory leaks). themore RAM, the more stuff u can run SIMULTANEOUSLY. but at the sametime more stuff u run simultaneously, the more you tax your processor, can cause hangs, slowdowns, etc. so close what program u dun need, dun just minimise i've been scratching my head over this. Hmm... now that Im on the correct path, what seems to be the problem? I cant seem to find the image files from kitchen ROM. no *mdb found cooked ROM = change Window features, correct? |

QUOTE(DrWho @ Aug 9 2009, 05:44 PM) WM6.0 only allow you to use up to 2GB SD card. WM6.1 will allow you to use SDHC card to 16GB and above. oh goody goody.. hopefully tonite wont be another sleepless nite. huhu. Here is the WM6.1 KISS ROM flash package. Read the instruction carefully before you flash or run the risk of bricking your phone. thank u Doc. This post has been edited by Jubee: Aug 9 2009, 09:36 PM |

Mayb is software problem. I sent my phone in to LG service ctr coz few days back I screw up the screen. Thought it was hardware problem. Cost me $50 only to reinstall the WM. but he can only install 6.0 ver. (yea what a waste.. i came back I installed 6.1 successfully.)
Try sending in to their service ctr. |

QUOTE(DrWho @ Aug 13 2009, 12:45 PM) OMG !!! so fierce. QUOTE(adz83 @ Aug 13 2009, 04:02 PM) u still need to switch off ur ks20 1st tho. err by the way, anyone knows how to adjust the mobile java to be full screen? its hard to play java games with some of lower detais missing. thanking in advance. oh... to do a hard reset is press (send + lowerVol + ON button) to boot it up. and not the other way.. manual so confusing la. this is from the manual. To perform a hard reset • Press and hold both buttons(Send+Volume Down) shown enclosed by circles in the picture below. Keep these keys pressed, and at the same time, press the POWER button on the right side of your device. And hold both buttons for a while (about 10 seconds). u shouldn't play any games on your KS20, really spoilt your eyes worst than computer. This post has been edited by Jubee: Aug 13 2009, 09:16 PM |
